Rachael Petro was selected as the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce s President and Chief Executive Officer In February 2011. Prior to joining the Alaska Chamber, Petro served as Deputy Commissioner for the Alaska Department of Administration and has a distinguished public service career in Alaska s Legislative and Executive branch. Petro began her career in public service in 1996 as a legislative aide in the Alaska State Senate. She has lived in Juneau, Ketchikan and Anchorage, Alaska. Petro was born and raised in Washington State, but likes to emphasize that she got to Alaska as quickly as she could.

Are you lookin for a rip roarin good time this summer? Come check out what s goin on at the Frontier Days event hosted by the Delta Chamber of Commerce on June 7, 2014. The fun takes place behind the Sullivan Roadhouse from 11am-5pm. There will be many things going on throughout the day for men, women and kids. Fill up all those hungry tummies with some good food and fixins. Things will be going on all day long so come on out and see what all the fun and fuss is about. The Sullivan Roadhouse will be open so stop by and check that out as well. Got any great ideas or something you d like to see included in this event? The SPRING RE-OPENING The Spring Re-Opening of the Visitor Center will be Saturday May 17, 2014 during the Annual Community Clean Up. Chamber News Museum Volunteers We would like to thank our wonderful Sullivan Roadhouse Museum Volunteers. You don t have to be a expert on the Sullivan Roadhouse or even a long time resident of Delta Junction, most Visitors love to see a friendly face who is willing to chat for awhile! It is a great feeling to know that we live in a community with wonderful people that will step up and fill in wherever they are needed. If you would like to be a Volunteer at the roadhouse even to just fill-in please call the chamber office at 907-8955068. We would like to have 3-5 members per committee. This is a great way to get involved with the Chamber and get your ideas heard. The committees available are listed below.
