Most helpful customer reviews 12 of 14 people found the following review helpful. Great Summary of Political Economy By Adam Glesser This is a very good introduction into the theories of political economy. It covers classical and neo-classical theories, as well as Marxian and Keynesian critiques. Notably missing is Polanyi. Sometimes a bit difficult to read, but then again, this is political economics... 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. The Theory Behind the Economy By Travis This book is a little dated. **However,** understanding the 'theory' behind interpretations of how political institutions interface (or interlace) with economic processes - and vice versa - is quintessential for the Political Economist. This book goes a long way to helping one do that. Very Good. See all 2 customer reviews...
