BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS Supervisor Ornellas informed the Board that the East Altamont Energy Center, LLC filed a petition with the California Energy Commission requesting an extension to the start of construction date for the East Altamont Center Project. The project is located in Alameda County, east of Mt. House. Supervisor Ornellas proposed that the County send a letter to the California Energy Commission opposing an extension. County Counsel stated that this should be done through the Community Development Department.
