BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT: Items A. Presentation of items by BLM Representative: 1) Snow Water Lake and Warm Creek Allotments Grazing Permit Renewal Decisions Discussion and consideration of the Grazing Permit Renewal Decisions. The proposed action focuses on livestock grazing management on 19,586 acres of public land intermixed with 1,537 acres of private land within the Snow Water Lake and Warm Creek Grazing Allotments and all other items related, thereto. (Wells Field Office) 2) Competitive Oil & Gas Lease Sale Notice Discussion and consideration of the Environmental Assessment for parcels of public land nominated for lease in the June 2014 Competitive Oil & Gas Lease Sale, and all other items related, thereto. Public review period ends February 10, 2014. (Elko District Office) 3) 2013 Red Cow Fire Wildfire Management Decision Discussion and consideration of the Wildfire Management Decision for the 2013 Red Cow Fire which authorizes emergency stabilization and rehabilitation treatments throughout the burned area, and all other items related, thereto. (Tuscarora Field Office) B. BLM Other Correspondence and Items of Discussion s VII. UNITED STATES FOREST SERVICE: Items A. Presentation of items by USFS Representative: Big Springs Gold Exploration Project Discussion and consideration of the Big Springs Gold Exploration Project proposal to construct drill pads and sumps in support of drilling to explore for precious metal minerals. The District Rangers has determined that is proposed activity may be categorically excluded from further analysis and is applying notice, comment, and appeal regulations to this project. Comment period ends January 21 st. (Mountain City Ranger District)

Page 4 Smith Ranch Fire Seeding Project Discussion and consideration of the proposed Smith Ranch Fire Seeding Project to aerial seed 585 acres in the 2013 Smith Ranch Fire area. POSSIBLE FUTURE GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN DISCUSSION Non Action item Continued discussion on possible future Government shutdowns and how Elko County might assist with keeping certain recreational and necessary federal operations open. Discussion will include what areas should be priorities for the health and welfare of the public and the economy, as well as what vehicles and resources may be needed, and all other items related, thereto. IX. PAIUTE PIPELINE 2015 ELKO AREA EXPANSION PROJECT Discussion and consideration of a notice of intent from the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to prepare an environmental assessment for the planned project by the Paiute Pipeline Company to construct and operate approximately 35 miles of new underground natural gas pipeline and appurtenant facilities in Elko county. The scoping period will close January 22, 2014. X. SAGE GROUSE PLANNING STRATEGY Discussion and consideration of issues related to recent activities concerning the possible listing of the Greater Sage-Grouse on the Endangered Species List, pilot projects, and all other items related, thereto. XI. ELKO COUNTY ADVISORY BOARD TO MANAGE WILDLIFE / NDOW: s Update and commissioner discussion and consideration of recent action by the Elko County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife, and all other items related, thereto. XII. CORRESPONDENCE REPORT AND OTHER ITEMS OF DISCUSSION: s Humboldt Watershed Cooperative Weed Management Area Newsletter Discussion and consideration of the information provided within the Humboldt Watershed Cooperative Weed Management Area (HWCWMA) Fall 2013 newsletter and all other items related, thereto.
