Presentation of items by USFS Representative: Big Springs Gold Exploration Project Discussion and consideration of the Big Springs Gold Exploration Project proposal to construct drill pads and sumps in support of drilling to explore for precious metal minerals. The District Rangers has determined that is proposed activity may be categorically excluded from further analysis and is applying notice, comment, and appeal regulations to this project. PAIUTE PIPELINE 2015 ELKO AREA EXPANSION PROJECT Discussion and consideration of a notice of intent from the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to prepare an environmental assessment for the planned project by the Paiute Pipeline Company to construct and operate approximately 35 miles of new underground natural gas pipeline and appurtenant facilities in Elko county. The scoping period will close January 22, 2014. X. SAGE GROUSE PLANNING STRATEGY Discussion and consideration of issues related to recent activities concerning the possible listing of the Greater Sage-Grouse on the Endangered Species List, pilot projects, and all other items related, thereto. XI. ELKO COUNTY ADVISORY BOARD TO MANAGE WILDLIFE / NDOW: s Update and commissioner discussion and consideration of recent action by the Elko County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife, and all other items related, thereto.
