STATEMENT OF CONTRIBUTIONS & EXPENDITURES POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE (PAC) W.S. 22-25-106 (IMPORTANT! This form is for PACs formed at the county or municipal level to support or oppose local candidates, trustees, or ballot propositions.) Who must file? A committee formed before or after an election is required to file a statement of contributions and expenditures after each election. In an odd-numbered (non-election) year, any PAC or candidate committee that has not filed a statement of termination is required to file an annual itemized statement of contributions and expenditures. WS 22-25-106(b)(ii) What must be filed and when? A committee shall file an itemized statement of contributions at least seven (7) days before the election current to any day from the eighth day up to the fourteenth day before the election. WS 22-25-106(b)(i) The committee shall file a statement of contributions and expenditures within ten (10) days after a primary, general or special election. WS 22-25-106(b)(i) A committee formed after an election to defray campaign expenses incurred during a previous election, and any ongoing committee, shall file an itemized statement of contributions and expenditures on December 31 st of each odd-numbered year and shall continue to make the reports until the committee terminates. Primary Election: Contributions and Expenditures within 10 days after the Primary: Aug. 31, 2018 General Election: Contributions and Expenditures within 10 days after the General: Nov. 16, 2018 Non-Election Year: Contributions and Expenditures (odd-numbered year): Dec. 31 st Special Election: Contributions and Expenditures within 10 days after the election Reporting requirements: The general rule is that a committee should note and keep track of all campaign contributions no matter how small. The law only requires you to itemize contributions on this form totaling 25 or more. However, keep in mind that if you receive 10 from a contributor who then later gives you 20, you must report the total 30 contribution on this form. Penalty for not reporting: A person found guilty of violating Wyoming campaign finance statutes is subject to criminal charges. Revised 11/2017
