From: Democrats.org democraticparty@democrats.org Subject: Diversity, kindness, and love Date: July 27, 2016 at 11:19 AM To: Hillary Clinton is officially our party's nominee for president! Let's make sure we give her and Democrats all across the country everything it takes to win: DONATE Eric, I have to admit that yesterday's roll call vote left me feeling pretty emotional. Moments like Bernie Sanders' brother voicing his support and his vote with Democrats Abroad, to Hillary Clinton's childhood best friend casting their home state of Illinois' vote, to Jim Obergefell, who helped pave the way for marriage equality to be the law of the land, standing with the Ohio delegation to cast another vote for progress. And then to have Bernie formally call for the vote that finally shattered that glass ceiling and made Hillary our official presidential nominee. It was an incredible night, reflecting the amazing journey we've taken and a primary we should be truly proud of. It showcased the amazing diversity of our party and our country. And it could not have stood in sharper contrast to what we saw from the Republicans in Cleveland last week. Instead of fear-mongering and empty rhetoric, we heard a message of compassion and optimism -- with a candidate who has the record and policies to back it up. Instead of divisiveness, our party's refrain is one of love and kindness. It's a pretty incredible thing to be a part of, Eric. If you're as proud as I am to be a Democrat and fight to elect leaders who share our values up and down the ballot this November, pitch in $10 or whatever you can today. If you've saved your payment information, your donation will go through immediately. QUICK DONATE: $10
