Fro Crestview Heights Acadey U. S. Presidents Noenclature and Matching Cards By Stephenie McBride

Hello and thank you for purchasing this product! Noenclature cards (Picture Matching Cards) are traditionally used in Montessori progras as a way to teach vocabulary and beginning reading. If you wish to use the cards in this way, you will want to print the on cardstock or back the with cardstock or other stiff paper. If you have access to a lainator, lainating the cards will greatly increase their durability. Noenclature cards are soeties called three part cards because you cut the into three pieces. The piece with the photo and the word on the sae card is the control card. Children can use it to correct their own work after atching the separate photo and word. My children do this activity as part of our workbox syste. Noenclature cards used in Montessori progras are presented using a three part lesson. First, you show the child the card and word and tell hi or her what the object is and the word says. Next, you have the child point to the object or word when you say it. Finally, you ask the child to nae the object and word, or to atch the object and the word. Soe other possible uses for noenclature cards include: 1. Printing the pages on regular paper and use the to ake a beginning reader 2. Flashcards 3. Adding the to a lapbook as either a booklet or eory cards in a pocket 4. Using the to ake folder gaes 5. Playing go fish or ruy 6. Copywork or handwriting lessons 7. Making a picture dictionary 8. Pocket-chart atching 9, Concentration

I have also included several sorting cards in this set. There are cards to sort the Presidents by which were assassinated, which died in office, which were Vice President before they were President, which were related to another President, and by era. There is also an answer key included for each group.
