Celebrate with us the 60th anniversary of the Rome Treaty and get a chance of winning beautiful gift by sharing with us your European experience and take part in the exhibition «My EUROPE» presented from the 25th of March 2017 at the World Peace Centre for Liberties and Human Rights in Verdun. Until the 31 st of December 2016, the World Peace Centre for Liberties and Human Rights collects objects, photos and other memories from European s day to day Europe. Each object will be presented to the public on the 25 th of March 2017 as part of the exhibition My EUROPE to illustrate the many facets of Europe serving its citizen each day. How to participate? Paragraph 1.1 : Participants : Rulebook for the exhibition My EUROPE Participation to My EUROPE is open to adults and to children with parental authorisation. Participation has to be validated by the World Peace Centre for Liberties and Human Rights following an email exchange with the participant. Participation is only validated once the participant has completed and submitted the participation form. A legal entity can take part in the exhibition My EUROPE through loaning one or more objects by the means of its representation. A special contract can be made for the said moral entity s participation. Paragraph 1.2.: Participation of the exhibition s sponsors: The exhibition s sponsors can invite their team collaborators to participate if they wish to by sending objects for My EUROPE. As such, all the sponsors collaborator can take part counting a single participation per person. All kind of participations is allowed as part of a sponsor s internal challenge. In agreement with the sponsor, the collaborators are allowed to directly send their object(s) for the exhibition to the World Peace Centre, whilst mentioning their link to the sponsors. Or choose to send it to the sponsor, sponsor who will then send all the objects together to the World Peace Centre. In the particular situation of sponsors internal contests, the World Peace Centre is included in the choice of the contest winners. The winners objects could be included in the exhibition with mentioning that they won the contest. Paragraph 2 : Objects The objects can be physical (books, stickers, pictures, souvenirs, passports, diploma, letters, printed pictures ) or digital (pictures, music ). These objects have to fit within the exhibition s goal: present Europe s daily reality for its citizens. Ownership rights: The objects stay the participants property and will be returned to their owner at the end of the exhibition. The participants allow for them to be exhibited and their reproduction in any way for the purpose of the exhibition My Europe. The objects are loaned on a free basis and no remuneration can come the participation to this exhibition. Each participant is free to make a donation of his or her object to the World Peace Centre. This decision can be done at any given time and will be made possible with the creation of a convention for the donation. Insurance: While on loan for the exhibition, the objects are insured by the World Peace Centre for Liberties and Human Rights to the amount established by the owner.
The participants are in charge of the shipment of their object and insure that they are properly packed and conserved. Once the object is delivered, a picture of the object will be sent via email to its owner after reception. The World Peace Centre for Liberties and Human Rights is in charge of the return shipment of the objects and insuring the appropriate packaging to insure their good conservation. As part of the sponsors, the World Peace Centre takes at its charge the transportation of the objects. Paragraph 3 : Terms et cancellation The World Peace Centre for Liberties and Human Rights reserve itself the right to refuse an object or participation not in accordance with the exhibition My Europe. The World Peace Centre for Liberties and Human Rights reserve itself the right to cancel the project and the exhibition My Europe. In this case, the objects will be returned to their rightful owners without giving them the right to seek any compensation. The objects on loan are meant to be shown to the public for the whole duration of the exhibition My EUROPE and the objects can be shown at the World Peace Centre prior to the start of the said exhibition for its promotion by the Centre and its sponsors. The exhibition My EUROPE is meant to be inaugurated on the 25 th of March 2017 for the 60 th anniversary of the Rome Treaty. The exhibition will be opened until the 25 th of September 2017. The World Peace Centre for liberty and human Rights reserve itself the right to keep the exhibition open for an added 3 months. Each participant will receive 2 free tickets to visit the exhibition during its opening days. These tickets won t allow access to any other exhibition from the World Peace Centre for liberty and human Right. Each participant will be informed via email of all the official events in relation with My EUROPE to give them the chance to be present at the said events. Each participant gives the World Peace Centre the possibility to contact him or her via email and telephone. Each participant is invited to follow My EUROPE on social media. Each participant accept that his or her name and nationality could be mentioned on the descriptive of the objects within the exhibition. Each participant is invited to give the Centre a short description giving the context of the object and their choice of the object for My EUROPE. The World Peace Centre for liberty and human Rights is free to organize the scenography of the exhibition and its content. The World Peace Centre for liberty and human Rights is free to decide of the presentation of the object in the exhibition space and will insure its security. The World Peace Centre for liberty and human Rights is in charge of the communication relative to the exhibition. The
World Peace Centre for liberty and human Rights is free to organise the official events as part of the exhibition My EUROPE. The exhibition My EUROPE is organised for the 60 th year anniversary of the Rome Treaty. The exhibition aims to present Europe s citizens in their day to day life. Each participant has the possibility to rectify the information they have given as part of their participation. Paragraph 4 : Contest A draw of lottery will be organised to designate winners of prizes. This draw is organised on the 22 nd of January 2017 in the building of the World Peace Centre for Liberties and Human Rights. Only individuals who contributed to the exhibition My EUROPE by the loan of an object are eligible for this contest. The prizes can t be exchanged. The World Peace Centre for Liberties and Human Rights and its partners for this project freely choose the prizes. Winners will be personally contacted using the contact information given in their submission form. In the case of a cancellation, the draw and the contest won t take place. Paragraph 5 : Sponsor Each legal entity whose object and activities aren t fitting with the exhibition My EUROPE can be partner and sponsor of this exhibition. The conditions of this partnership will be set by a special convention. Each partner and sponsor will be informed of the official events organised as part of the exhibition My EUROPE. Paragraph 6 : Disputes In of a dispute, a mediation process will be set in place within 10 days following the referral file of the World Peace Centre for Liberties and Human Rights. This mediation process will be set prior to any further legal referral file. This rulebook is set under the French jurisdiction with the legal overview of Verdun s Tribunal de Grande Instance.
