Common Mistakes to avoid in your Online NRI Passport Application on the Government of India Website: 1. CAPITAL LETTERS must be used to fill the Online NRI Passport Application form on the Government Website. 2. All details must be filled MANUALLY using black/blue ballpoint pen in the Online NRI Passport Application form from Q.7 Particulars of person to be intimated in the event of death or accident. Handwrite all details between Q.7 and Q29. Do not leave any fields blank. 3. Please Sign the Passport Application Form wherever indicated before submission. 4. Ensure that the signatures on the passport and on the Application Form are the same. 5. Ensure that the following details are the same as mentioned in your old passport.
