Davis Women s Softball Team Win of the NCAA Division Softball Championship. An Ordinance Amending Section 6.02.060 of the Municipal Code of the City of Davis Regulating the Use of Motorized Scooters on Public Sidewalks, Pathways, Roadways and Playgrounds. Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Submit and Execute the FTA Grant Application for the University of California-Davis, for Operations and Capital Assistance Project Number CA-90-Y210. ((Interim Police Chief Steve Pierce/Parks and Community Services Director Donna Silva) If grant proposal is successful the City will receive federal funds to the maximum of $125,000 for three years for one resource officer s salary including benefits. The Davis Joint Unified School District has committed to pay the remainder of the required matching funds during the three years.. E. Resolution of the City Council of the Authorizing the City Manager to Enter Into a Purchase and Sales Agreement and Improvement Agreement with Davis Lumber and Hardware Company. F. Resolution Approving the Assessment and Payment of Parking-In-Lieu Fees and a Fair Share Portion of the H Street Alley Improvements for the Mixed-Use Project At 200 G Street. G. Release of Final Impact Analysis for Draft UCD Neighborhood/Proposed Guiding Principles for Future Negotiations. (City Manager Jim Antonen) This item was distributed to Council at the May 28 th meeting. The concept for developing the Principles evolved during May meeting with UCD staff, county representatives and City Council Subcommittee. In June, Finance & Budget Commission and Business & Economic Development Commission will consider the fiscal study. Recommendation: Informtional. H. Commission Minutes: 1. Meeting of June 4, 2003 Page 4 Item 7 Public Hearing: Vacation of Right-of-Way and Lot Line Adjustment Northerly Portion of h Street Alley Behind 240 G Street (Redevelopment Project Manager Ken Hiatt/Planning & Building Director Bill Emlen) This area of land to be conveyed consists primarily of existing right-of-way with additional portions from the two City owned parcels to the east. Recommendation: Approve resolution vacating right-of-way and lot line adjustment application. Item 8 Continued Public Hearing: Yolo County Referral Impossible Acres Yolo County Store. (Assistant Planner Ethan Boxer-Macomber/Planning & Redevelopment Administrator Katherine Hess) The applicant proposes to open a Yolo Store selling only locally produced agricultural products. The store would open each spring when fruit begins to ripen. This will be a joint discussion with the Davis Redevelopment Agency. Recommendation City County register no objections to the county s consideration of Conditional Use Permit based on findings and conditions contained in the staff report.
