UNISA Brochures 2016 Posted by Thankful - 2015/11/17 15:48 Anybody has an idea of when the 2016 UNISA brochures, dates etc will be released? I love planning... even more than studying. Posted by rynovz - 2015/11/17 16:00 It will be out shortly. Normally when registration starts which might be the 23rd of November. Posted by Thankful - 2015/11/17 17:25 Thanks. Appreciate! Posted by darylm - 2015/11/17 18:33 Agree that registration will probably open Mon 23, and hopefully brochures released by then. The 2016 exam dates are available online. Check under the generic "examination" tab before you login to myunisa Posted by Thankful - 2015/11/17 20:14 Thanks, good advice! Posted by PFilan - 2015/11/18 10:41 1 / 11

Posted by rynovz - 2015/11/30 13:16 Unisa Brochures still not out...well maybe tonight at 23:59 Posted by Arrie13-2015/12/01 13:58 End November they said but no avail! Eish Posted by Hamburger - 2015/12/01 14:04 A point to ponder - Not everyone at University went to University. English can sometimes be such a delicious language! :woohoo: Posted by renelan2001-2015/12/01 14:23 Hi Guys, I usually go onto the official unisa website and search my course name and it then takes me the page that says the curriculum information will be made available towards the end of November 2015 But... When I searched my degree code, eg 98304, it took me to another page that actually has a curriculum. But whether it is the correct curriculum for next year, I'm not sure. Especially since SUS1501 seems to have fallen away and in it's place there is now a new subject: CAS1501 - Perspectives on Accountancy. Everything else on the curriculum looks the same as the current year's... Posted by Bernhardt - 2015/12/01 14:27 3 / 11

have fallen away and in it's place there is now a new subject: CAS1501 - Perspectives on Accountancy. Everything else on the curriculum looks the same as the current year's... I see it as well with mine (98300) and it is exactly the same as the current year's. If you type in the course code in the main search and you choose the second option in the results window it gives you a curriculum. Posted by Arrie13-2015/12/01 14:59 Jip It looks the same as previous as current year's! Posted by Bernhardt - 2015/12/01 15:10 Many pre-requisites has changed to co-requisites in 98302. Posted by Gingercutie - 2015/12/01 15:15 Which link are you guys using to look for your degree code, cause it's still sending me to the same page? Posted by Sam9-2015/12/01 16:22 Since I did SUS1501 this semester and it has now been replaced by something else, is that going to affect my degree? EDIT: I see the webmaster is still updating the site, Some information gone missing. Posted by rynovz - 2015/12/01 17:50 I won't take this too seriously. Rather wait for the real mcoya to be published. Nope, the modules you had to do at the time of registration for the degree, are the modules you have to do. Students that have completed SUS1501 will most definitely be exempted from this CAS module. Although I don't really trust this funny portal, let's rather wait for the official release of the curriculum. Posted by Arrie13-2015/12/04 11:46 how come everything is a problem with Unisa? phone number just rings or just dies when you call! ag nee man Posted by Bernhardt - 2015/12/12 00:07 Looks like the curriculum has been released although no brochures. Looks like this funny CAS module is now the new SUS of 98302. Many modules have changed to co-requisites as well. So yes, anyone looking for a good challenge, you can now take FAC1502 and FAC1601 in the same semester it seems. Posted by Arrie13-2015/12/12 13:34 Hi, Please help Can I register for modules in the qualification 98316 while Iam still on qualification 98306? Although I don't really trust this funny portal, let's rather wait for the official release of the curriculum. I played around with the registration walk through today and although I have the SUS subject on my list of passed modules, I went through all modules left to pass and CAS was listed as one of them?! I can't get hold of anyone at UNISA to confirm what's going on, but I cancelled my registration as I don't want to end up registering before the lecturers change this option. The module description doesn't seem to follow the same line as SUS. Hopefully we get the exemption and not squeezed for more money from UNISA for an extra subject and wasting focus and time on more important exams. I don't know if anyone has had any luck contacting UNISA regarding SUS/CAS replacement and what it means for students who have already passed SUS? Posted by Sam9-2015/12/15 17:00 Mine is also showing that I need to complete the CAS module even though I have already passed SUS. Anyone know what we need to do to resolve this? Same thing i was thinking about during the day. I also completed SUS, i wonder if we will get credit or what. I think its best we contact the Dean of College of accountancy, Maybe he/she might refer to someone or share what will happen to those who already completed SUS. Hey Guys i have emailed with regards to SUS1501 and CAS1501 but havent received any feedback as yet. I dont think its fair if we have to complete CAS as we have already completed SUS, this would mean that we would do a total of 31 modules. If we were to be exempted then why is CAS reflecting as an outstanding module? If anyone has any response please let me know ASAP Posted by Damian7-2016/01/04 08:57 Any answers? 11 / 11
