FOWLER BOARD OF TRUSTEES 317 S. Main Street January 12, 2015 6:00 p.m. Mayor Chuck Hitchcock called the meeting to order and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. Present: Mayor Chuck Hitchcock; Trustees Emil Rogge, Pat Christensen, Felix Gonzales, Randy McKown and Brenda Eddy. Absent: Keith Lance Staff present: Interim Administrator Dan Hyatt, Sergeant Jake Freidenberger, Public Works Foreman Rich Spaccamonti and Town Clerk Kelly Lotrich. Changes to the Agenda Public Comment Approval of Previous Minutes December 22, 2014 MOTION (1-15) Trustee Rogge moved that the Board of Trustees accept the minutes of December 22, 2014 as written. Trustee McKown seconded the motion and the motion passed December 30, 2014-Special Meeting MOTION (2-15) Trustee Rogge moved that the Board of Trustees accept the minutes of December 30, 2014 Special meeting as written. Trustee McKown Mayor Report Mayor Hitchcock thanked the Public Works department for all of their hard work repairing leaks, cleaning sidewalks and streets from snow and all of the many other things they do. Committee Reports Public Works Report Public Works Foreman, Rich Spaccamonti, informed the board that they have been busy fixing leaks and removing snow. Police Report

Sergeant Jake Freidenberger informed the board that the police department will be down one part time officer. Officer Hunt has left for another position elsewhere. The department has started advertising for the part time position. Chief D Mize met with other Chief of Police from rural communities to discuss forming a Rural Chief of Police Association. Sergeant Freidenberger and Officer Phelps will be attending training on Wednesday. Interim Administrator Report Interim Administrator, Dan Hyatt informed the board that Mr. Marsh s bank was requesting an addendum to the farm lease. MOTION (3-15) Trustee Gonzales moved to approve the addendum to the farm lease. Trustee McKown seconded the motion and the motion passed Unfinished Business New Business Approval of letter to Senator Crowder and Representative Navarro-Ratzliff MOTION (4-15) Trustee Christensen moved to approve letter to Senator Crowder and Representative Navarro-Ratliff on TABOR issues. Trustee Gonzales Approval of disposal of 2004 Ford Police Car MOTION (5-15) Trustee Christensen moved to accept sealed bids on the sale of the 2004 Ford Police Car. Trustee McKown seconded the motion. MOTION TO AMEND (5(a)-15) Trustee Christensen moved to amend the motion that the sealed bids be opened on February 23, 2015 at 6:00p.m. Trustee McKown seconded the motion and the motion passed MAIN MOTION VOTE The Mayor called for the vote on the main motion as amended (Motion 5-15). Trustee McKown MAIN MOTION VOTE The Mayor called for the vote on the main motion as amended (Motion 15-15). Mayor sign documents MOTION (20-15) Trustee Rogge moved to authorize Mayor Hitchcock to sign all documents approved by the board of trustees at this meeting of the Board of Trustees.
