ADDENDUM #T-8 DECEMBER 14, 2017 WHEREAS, Section 135.14(B)(7) of the Ohio Revised Code states: (7) Up to forty per cent of interim moneys available for investment in either of the following: (a) Commercial paper notes issued by an entity that is defined in division (D) of section 1705.01 of the Revised Code and that has assets exceeding five hundred million dollars, to which notes all of the following apply: (i) The notes are rated at the time of purchase in the highest classification established by at least two nationally recognized standard rating services. (ii) The aggregate value of the notes does not exceed ten per cent of the aggregate value of the outstanding commercial paper of the issuing corporation. (iii) The notes mature not later than two hundred seventy days after purchase. (iv) The investment in commercial paper notes of a single issuer shall not exceed in the aggregate five per cent of interim moneys available for investment at the time of purchase. (b) Bankers acceptances of banks that are insured by the federal deposit insurance corporation and that mature not later than one hundred eighty days after purchase. Trotwood-Madison School Board Policy 6144 includes additional requirements one of which requires a two-thirds vote of its members to invest in commercial paper notes. WHEREAS, the Treasurer will commence investing in Commercial Paper in the amount of $2,000,000 and will have the authority to invest additional interim monies as allowed under the Ohio Revised Code and in compliance with the law stated above. Now, therefore be it resolved by the TROTWOOD-MADISON CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION the approval of $2,000,000 for investing in Commercial Paper through Huntington Investment Company. ~23~

ADDENDUM #S-5 DECEMBER 14, 2017 BOARD RESOLUTION WHEREAS the Trotwood-Madison City School District Board of Education is a political subdivision charged with the rights, duties, and responsibilities to provide a challenging curriculum that prepares students for post-graduation opportunities, and WHEREAS the legislature of the State of Ohio has provided additional options for students who entered ninth grade for the first time between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015 to be able to qualify for a high school diploma, IT IS NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Trotwood-Madison City School District Board of Education shall grant a diploma to eligible students of the Class of 2018 who entered ninth grade for the first time between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015 by meeting the criteria set forth in Board Policy 5460, Graduation Requirements, or by meeting criteria associated with the additional options set forth in the approved budget bill promulgated by the Ohio General Assembly as subsequently listed below: A student must take all end-of-course exams required and retake any end- of-course exam in English Language Arts or Mathematics at least once for which the student received a score lower than three (3), meet other graduation requirements set by the District, and meets at least two of the following conditions: Attendance rate of 93% during the twelfth grade year. Take at least four courses that are full-year or equivalent during the 12 th grade year and maintain at least a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for course completed during the 12 th grade. Complete a capstone project as defined by the District during the 12 th grade year. Complete 120 hours in a community service role or in a position of employment. Earn three or more transcript hours of credit through the College Credit Plus program at any time during high school. Pass an Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate course and received a 3 or higher on the Corresponding AP exam or 4 or higher on the corresponding IB exam. Earn at least a 3 on the job skills assessment in the areas of applied mathematics, reading for information, and locating information. Obtain an industry-recognized credential or group of credentials equal to 3 total points. Meets all requirements for the OhioMeansJobs readiness seal. ~91~
