Public benefit activities performed during the year of reporting The Foundation in collaboartion with partners (TDH Romania, Hors la Rue (France), Alliance for Children and Youth (Bulgaria) and ARSIS (Greece - since July 2011 is working in the project "Reveni: Transnational monitoring of return Procedures for Romanian and Bulgarian children" (implementation project for an international verification of procedures for the expulsion of Romanian and Bulgarian children), with EU co-financing. The project aims to provide better protection and decision-making for the European unaccompanied minors in Europe through professional exchange of information, monitoring, research, public awareness campaigns, collecting data and dissemination of best practices. The work was continued in 2012 under the research component (see section 7.4 below), and the organization of events bringing together multiple stakeholders continued. Finally, the result of careful preparatory work a conference in Budapest took place in December, ending the project with over fifty participants. The conference was not only the place for dissemination of the results of the research the results of which become widely known, but the need for a regulatory framework protecting the rights of migrant children on a European Union level was also raised. In this context to the work currently still in progress. The "Mario: Protect children on the move" ("Protection of Migrant Children") project 'was implemented until March 2012, funded by two private foundations. The project activities carried out by the Foundation covered: National level: we organized a workshop with 30 Hungarian participants on the results of our research on the phenomenon of unaccompanied minors not seeking refugee status(see section 7.4 below). The event took on the issue with the participation of representatives from the border guard authorities and representatives of children's homes. 3. Based on our research Bulgarian, French, Greek and Romanian experts discussed the need at European level to introduce legislation that would provide migrant children of European citizenship with equal treatment in the European Union. These suggestions were incorporated into the recommendations of the OSCE. Reveni: the project was to examine to which extent the best interest of the migrant children is taken into account in the destination countries when making decisions for their fate to be sent back to their country of origin.

MARIO project: examined the effectiveness of the protection for the rights of asylum seeker migrant children in Hungary - and on this basis we have made several recommendations to the Hungarian government and professionals. The research was carried out in 15 countries with ICMPD and the other consortium partners, depicting child begging. The Foundation has been responsible for research conducted in six countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, Poland, Hungary. Every country the basis of the research was a national report describing existing research and data, and interviews with experts, representatives of relevant institutions. The second step was carried out at two locations per country local research, which was part of the child beggars observation and interviews made with them. The final report is the property of the European Council, which was submitted in late March 2012. Our participation as a partner in 2012 also brought a request from the European Commission that aims to collect data on children in Europe recorded as missing children. The research started in September 2012 with local data collection. Transmission of information gathered took place in October. In 2012, we continued to operate our European website - www.tdh-childprotection.org. We had 40.097 visitors of which 21 679 are users from Europe. Our weekly newsletter reaches 4008

people. Over the years, nearly 800 new reviews were added to the site.
