Dr. Bojana Čučković Education Dr. Bojana Čučković was born in Belgrade on May 17, 1979. She attended primary school Vladislav Ribnikar and she acquired secondary education in Third Belgrade High school. For successful completion of both primary and secondary education levels, she was awarded Vuk Karadžić diploma. In 2003 she completed bachelor studies at University of Belgrade Faculty of Law with an average grade 9.93/10.00. During university studies she was awarded scholarships by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia and the Foundation for the Development of Scientific and Artistic Youth. She also received scholarships from the Government of France, both within the program Connaisance de la France during the third year of university studies, and scholarship for one-year master studies in France. In 2003 she enrolled postgraduate studies at University of Belgrade Faculty of Law (Public International Law module). She passed oral exam in 2008 and defended magister s thesis entitled Proliferation of International Judicial Bodies with Jurisdiction in Criminal Matters in 2009. During the academic year 2005/2006 she attended postgraduate master program at Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, module in international law and international organizations. She successfully completed this programme in September 2006 and defended master thesis entitled La multiplication de l'accès à la justice pénale pour les crimes internationaux before professor Jean-Marc Sorel and professor Hervé Ascensio. She completed her doctoral studies at University of Belgrade Faculty of Law in 2012, under the supervision of professor Milenko Kreća. The title of her doctoral dissertation is Application of Rules on State Responsibility for Environmental Harm. She is fluent in English (Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English grade A) and French. She also possesses reading skills in Italian language. Professional experience and academic career After completing her university studies, Bojana Čučković practiced law in Law Office Tomanović. Since 2004 she is a member of the Department for International Law and International Relations at University of Belgrade Faculty of Law. Her current academic title is Assistant Professor for Public International Law. At the level of undergraduate studies she teaches Public International Law. At the level of master studies she lectures two courses: Public International Law and Environmental Responsibility from the Perspective of Primary International Environmental Rules. She also teches two courses at Ph.D. level Public International Law and International Environmental Law. Within master studies in English language - Master in European Integration she teaches a number of courses: EU Environmental Policy and Law Human Rights Aspect, International Relations of the European Union and Immigration and Asylum Policy of the EU.

She is also involved in clinical education at the Faculty of Law. She lectures at the Legal clinic for asylum and refugee law, Legal clinic for trafficking in human beings and Legal clinic for environmental law. In December 2014, she held a lecture entitled Recognition in International Law at the Diplomatic Academy within Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. Participation in scientific projects and conferences, membership in scientific and professional organizations She participates in scientific project Identity Transformation of Serbia, supported by the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law (2015- ). She participated in the scientific project Development of the Legal System of Serbia and its Harmonization with European Union Law, also supported by the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law (2005-2014). Since 2011 she is involved in the scientific project Perspectives of Implementation of European Standards in the Serbian Legal System, financed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia. She was also involved in the project Influence of the Jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights on the Case-Law of Serbian Courts, supported by Center for Applied European Studies (2012-2013). As regards international projects, she participates in SEE/EU Cluster of Excellence in European and International Law, project held by Europa Institut, Saarland University, Saarbrücken, Germany (2015-2018). Bojana Čučković participated at International Conference Current Research and New Challenges in European and International Law - Europa Institut, Saarland University, Saarbrücken (Germany), (11-13 November 2015). She took part at the International Conference on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, organized by the Council of Europe and Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Belgrade (19 May 2015). She participated at the International Scientific Conference Archibald Reiss Days Academy for Criminalistic and Police Studies, Belgrade (3 4 March 2015). She represented Belgrade Faculty of Law at International INTERUV Conference, The Hague, Netherlands (21-22 May 2014). She is a regular participant at Kopaonik School of Natural Law. She also took part at the International Conference New Security Challenges, organized by The Academic Council on the United Nations System, Vienna, Austria (3-5 June 2010). She is a member of the Serbian International Law Association, national branch of the International Law Association.

Extracurricular activities and functions Bojana Čučković is a member of the Council of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law (2015- ), and a member of the Scientific Board of the Institute for Legal and Social Studies (2015- ). She was a secretary of master academic studies Master in European Integration (2012-2014), as well as a secretary of Master 2 program which is implemented in cooperation with the European University Center in Nancy, France (Le Master «Etudes Européennes», 2e année, spécialité «Droit de la Construction européenne») (2012-2013). She also acted as secretary of the Department of International Law and International Relations (2004-2005 and 2006-2012). She is coordinator (for Belgrade Faculty of Law) of the project SEE EU Cluster of Excellence in European and International Law, which is jointly implemented by Europa- Institut, Saarland University, Saarbrücken (project holder) and Belgrade Faculty of Law as one of the partners (2015-2018). She coordinates the Asylum Law Clinic (2010- ) and the Human Trafficking Law Clinic (2011- ). The Asylum Law Clinic has been successfully implemented in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees for the last nine years, whereas the Human Trafficking Law Clinic was initiated in 2011 as a joint project of the Faculty of Law and three international organizations UNHCR, UNODC and IOM. She is one of the lecturers at Law Clinic for Environmental Law (2015-). She was secretary of the Summer School on the Protection of the Environment, which was jointly organized in October 2011 with Caen Faculty of Law, France. She was a coach of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law team at Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition, (2004-2005 and 2006-2007) and coach of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law team at discrimination law moot court competition (2013). In June 2015 she was invited to sit as a judge at the international space law moot court competition organized by European Center for Space Law - Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition. In December 2015 she was a member of DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Scholarship Selection Committee. She was a representative of the Faculty of Law at Elsevier Research Management Workshop (January 2015). In November 2012 she participated in an official visit to the University of Zagreb Faculty of Law, where she held a presentation regarding programs of the Asylum Law Clinic and Human Trafficking Law Clinic. She took part in organizing a number of conferences, seminars and visiting lectures held at University of Belgrade Faculty of Law. Based on their significance and/or international character, the following events may be singled out: International conference Teaching Climate Change and the United Nations System held on 17 and 18 May 2010 in cooperation with the Austrian Ministry for Science and Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS), Seminar on human trafficking held on 2 December 2011, marking the international slavery abolition day, workshop on anti-discrimination law and practice, organized in cooperation with Public Interest Law Institute, seminar on statelessness organized by UNHCR and Belgrade Faculty of Law in April 2013, public debate regarding Draft National Strategy and Action Plan of the Republic of Serbia for combating trafficking in human beings, held on 15 March 2013. Of particular significance is the organization of the International Congress of European and Mediterranean Lawyers held at Belgrade Faculty of

Law on 25 and 26 September 2014, in cooperation with the Foundation for Continental Law and Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia.
