The IKEA $250 Gift Card Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes") begins on 12/13/17 and ends on 12/17/17 ("Promotion Period"). There will be twenty (20) Grand Prize winners that will be randomly drawn from all eligible entrants that visit the IKEA store at 1000 IKEA Way, Grand Prairie, TX 75052 ( Participating Store ) during the Promotion Period and complete one (1) of the methods of entry, as further described below. You must be a registered member of the IKEA FAMILY program in order to enter. Joining IKEA FAMILY is free. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry who are registered members in good standing of the IKEA FAMILY program and have provided a valid email address for contact. Employees of IKEA North America Services, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, "Promotion Entities") and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate. HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES: To enter, if you are not already an IKEA FAMILY member, you must first join IKEA FAMILY by visiting the IKEA FAMILY website or visit a Participating Store during the Promotion Period and join the IKEA FAMILY membership program on an IKEA FAMILY Kiosk, IKEA FAMILY Enrollment Tablet or IKEA FAMILY in-store Desktop application. IKEA FAMILY members may then complete their entry into the Sweepstakes in one (1) of the following three (3) ways at the Participating Store: a) Kiosk Entry. Scan your IKEA FAMILY card in-store at a kiosk. No Purchase is necessary for this method of entry.
b) Enrollment Tablet Entry. Scan your IKEA FAMILY card at an enrollment tablet in-store. No Purchase is necessary for this method of entry. c) Checkout Entry. Scan your IKEA FAMILY card during checkout instore. A purchase is required for this method of entry. Limit one (1) entry per person regardless of method of entry. Entry must be completed by the close of business at the Participating Store on 12/17/17. No automated entry devices, bots and/or other programs and/or software are permitted for Sweepstakes entry. All entries become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, technically corrupted or garbled entries, which will be disqualified, or for problems of any kind, whether mechanical, human or electronic. Only fully completed entries are eligible. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of mailing address, email address, and/or telephone number of entrants. In the event of a dispute, any entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the IKEA FAMILY membership account submitted at the time of entry, provided that person meets all eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules. Authorized Account Holder means the natural person who is assigned to an IKEA FAMILY membership account by the Sponsor. Any entrant who attempts to enter more than once per Day using multiple e-mail addresses, multiple IKEA FAMILY membership accounts or under multiple identities will be disqualified from participation in the Sweepstakes and all entries from that individual will be considered void. 4. WINNER SELECTION: Twenty (20) Grand Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing to be conducted on or about 12/31/17, from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period from all methods combined by Sponsor or its designee, the judges in this Sweepstakes, whose decisions are final and binding. 5. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential prize winners will be notified initially via email using contact information provided or collected at the time of entry. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is
lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts, a potential winner does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours of the first notification attempt, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner may be selected. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will attempt to contact up to two (2) potential winners of a prize in accordance with the above procedure, after which the prize in question may go unawarded if it remains unclaimed. If any potential prize winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines the prize for any reason prior to award, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate prize winner may be selected. 6. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received from all methods combined. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Limit one (1) prize per person in the Sweepstakes. 7. GENERAL: Potential Grand Prize winners must provide confirmation of mailing address as detailed in prize notification within ten (10) days after the first notification attempt. Failure to do so, and/or non-compliance with Official Rules may result in forfeiture of prize and an alternate winner may be selected. Potential Grand Prize winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release and, where permitted by law, Publicity Release ( Winner Documents ) within seven (7) days after first delivery attempt. If prize notification or prize delivery is returned as non-deliverable, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. If for any reason the IKEA FAMILY card scan entry portion(s) of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In such event, Sponsor shall post notice on its website at http://www.ikeausa.com/family as soon as practical after any action is taken and award any prize(s) from among all eligible non-suspect entries received up to the action taken by the Sponsor provided a sufficient number of eligible entries have been received. DISPUTES: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that any disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any class action and all claims, awards and judgments shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs
associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys fees.
