Table on the ratification process of amendment of art. 136 TFEU, and 1 Foreword This table summarizes the general state of play of the ratification process of the amendment of art. 136 TFEU, the and the Fiscal Compact Treaty. To this end a difference is indicated between "approval" and "ratification", whereas by "approval" is intended the parliamentary procedure pending the signature by the Head of State and/or the publication in the Official Journal, essential elements for the complete ratification. N.B.: in the table, approvals at parliamentary level are indicated in black bold, whereas ratifications are marked in red bold. With regard to information concerning the deposit of the ratification instruments to the EU Council, this is marked in blue bold. was amended by Decision 2011/199/EU adopted by the European 25 March 2011. This one entered into force on 1 May 2013, following receipt by the Secretary-General of the EU Council of the notification by the Czech authorities of the completion of their ratification procedures. The was signed by the 17 Member States of the Euro-zone on 2nd February 2012 and entered into force on 27 September 2012 following receipt by the Secretary-General of the EU Council of the notification by the German authorities of the completion of their ratification procedures, thus fulfilling the condition provided for by art. 48, par. 1 of the same Treaty, according to which, the entry into force is submitted to the ratification by the signatories whose initial subscriptions represent no less than 90% of the total subscriptions. The Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance in the Economic and Monetary Union (TSCG), alias, was signed by 25 Member States (except the Czech Republic and the UK) on 2nd March 2012. Following receipt by the Secretary-General of the EU Council of the notification by the Finnish authorities of the completion of their ratification procedures on 21 December 2012, this Treaty entered into force on 1st January 2013, thus fulfilling the provision laid down in art. 14, par. 2 (ratification by twelve Contracting Parties whose currency is the Euro). 1 This table was produced with the kind cooperation of the Representatives of the national Parliaments in Brussels.
