Extension - From North to South 560 km, - From East to West 650 km Time zone GMT+2 Republic of Belarus is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe bordered by Russia to the east, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the north. Belarus is strategically situated on the routes North-South and East-West. Belarus is divided by 6 regions, 118 districts, more then 100 towns, 111 small towns, more then 24 000 villages.
