POSTER INFORMATION Poster presentations of clinical research results are encouraged. Abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific advisory committee, and presenters of selected abstracts will be asked to give a brief verbal presentation of their results (2-3 minutes) during a poster discussion session at the congress. Three outstanding posters will be announced at the end of the meeting, with prizes of $500 each to be awarded to the presenter. Only presenters under the age of 40 will be eligible for the poster awards. Poster Instructions Abstracts for posters should be printed in standard format, single spaced, on one side of a sheet of paper. Separate lines should be used for the Title, Authors (full first name, middle initial, and last name), Institutional Affiliation, Address, and Body of Abstract. The Body of the abstract should be limited to 200 words. Submission of Poster Abstracts to morana.simat@kzt.hr Deadline for Poster Abstracts - April 15, 2009 The poster session will be held at the Kvarner Hotel. Poster display starts on June 25, 2009 at 8.00 am and ends (dismantling) on June 27, 2009 after 1.00 pm. Each accepted poster will be assigned a number corresponding to the poster board assignment in the poster display area. Poster board size: height 180 cm / width 120 cm. 9 PROJECTIONS 1. Data Presentation If using a PowerPoint (or any other computer) presentation, please bring your presentation on a CD or disk on key, using the USB port in the computer and load it on one of the Congress computers at the main Congress Hall, at least 1 hour before the start of the session. You may supply your own laptop computer as a back-up. If combining video films with PowerPoint, please make sure to check it in the Congress hall during a coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session. Please note that the Congress computers are being supplied with Windows XP and Office XP (at least). Important note for Macintosh users If using a Macintosh laptop computer, please note that you need to supply your own, confirm that it has a VGA socket for external signal and check it in the session hall where your lecture is taking place during the coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session. 2. Video If you need to use a video for your presentation (VHS multisystem format only), please advise us by e-mail or fax, no later than June 1, 2009. 3. Overhead projection (projection of transparencies) If using transparencies, please advise us by e-mail or fax, no later than June 1, 2009. Please note that slide projection will not be available.

All hotels are within 5-8 min walk from the Congress venue. On arrival day, check in is 3.00 pm. On departure day, check out is 11.00 am the latest. Hotel bookings will be confirmed on a first come first served basis. Deadline for hotel booking is: April 15, 2009. After the mentioned date, accommodation may only be confirmed according to the hotels availability. Every hotel reservation must be accompanied by payment (credit card details or bank transfer copy) and will be confirmed in writing by the Technical Organizer Penta Ltd. PAYMENT Payment of registration fees and hotel accommodation is done through Penta Ltd. please see REGISTRATION AND ACCOMMODATION FORM. CHANGES AND/OR CANCELLATIONS All changes or cancellations of paid and used registration fees and hotel accommodation must be sent in writing to Penta Ltd. Any change (name, hotel or room type, arrival/departure date) or cancellation is possible under following conditions: by April 15, 2009: no charges Apr il15-june 1, 2009: EUR 50.00 per any change after June 1, 2009: EUR 75.00 per change of arrival/departure date or room type. In case of cancellation of registration or hotel accommodation no refund will be made. Name change for registration or hotel accommodation is not possible after June 1, 2009. Any new name or hotel reservation is treated as new application and is subject to prices and terms valid on date of change. The same conditions apply for changes on the spot.
