CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP POLICY Organizations eligible for Corporate Membership are Private, Public Limited Companies including Financial Institutions, Local and Foreign Banks, Insurance Companies, Multinational and Foreign Companies with a paid up capital of at least Tk. 10 million. The total number of Corporate Members shall be limited to 50 at a given time on first come first served basis. A Corporate Member shall enjoy all the privileges of a Permanent Member except the right of voting at a meeting, proposing, seconding for membership and of serving on the Executive Committee. A Corporate Member shall be entitled to nominate at a time two persons on payment of Corporate Membership fee of Tk. 15,00,000/ or for three persons from amongst its Chairman/ Managing Director / Director or Senior Executives. Nominations shall be in writing by the Chief Executive of the Company The Company shall have to pay Tk. 10,000/ for each such nominee as service charges. A Corporate Member shall not nominate one who has been debarred from the membership of the Club. A Corporate Member shall be liable for any dues/debts owed to the Club by its nominees. A Corporate Member shall cease to be a member of the Club on any one of the following events: (a) On going in to liquidation either voluntarily or otherwise. (b) On amalgamation or merger with any other Company or Corporate Body resulting in a total change in the Corporate Structure. (c) On non payment of its dues to the Club. (d) On refusal to forthwith comply with a request/direction to withdraw/change any/all of its nominee (s) either temporarily or permanently, pursuant to a proceeding under Articles 34/35 or otherwise.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING UP THE APPLICATION FOR CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP The Application Letter for Corporate Membership, Company Details Form, Nomination Form, and Nominee Information Forms must all be printed on the Company s Letterhead. A certified copy of the Company s Certificate of Incorporation must be attached with the Application Letter. Two recent passport photos of each Nominee must be attached with the Nominee Information Form. The Corporate Membership must be proposed by either a Donor or Life or Permanent Member and seconded by a Donor/ Life/ Permanent Member of the Club.
