PARTICIPATION SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION It is allowed to psychoanalysts, psychiatrics, psychotherapeutics, health operators, students (limited number). The official language of the Congress is Italian, nevertheless a simultaneous translation service in and from Italian, English and Spanish will be supplied. CANCELLATION For cancellations requested within November 30, 75% of the amount paid will be refunded. After this date no refund will be made. Refunds will be executed after the congress. AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES During the month of December all regularly registered participants will receive an appropriate form containing the specification of the Groups. PAPER SUBMISSION Key criteria in selecting submitted papers are the relevance to the conference thematic vertexes and the suitability to foster a group discussion. Once accepted, papers will be collected in a CD Rome to be distributed during the congress to all participants. Afterwards, some of them may be published, with the permission of the Authors, in volumes edited by the Scientific Boards. Our Congress will be the occasion to award the Parthenope Bion Talamo International Prize for distinguished services to psychoanalysis and the Francesco Corrao Award for the most original work on group psychoanalysis. INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS Papers must be submitted, both in Italian and in author s native language ONLY by email (bion2008roma@email.it), WITHIN AND NOT LATER than September 3. Papers length must not exceed 8 typed pages of 1800 strokes for a total of 14.400 strokes (including spaces) plus Bibliography. Different submission will not be taken into consideration. Once accepted, papers must be sent translated also in the other official languages (English and Spanish) within NOVEMBER 20, 2008. CME An official request will be addressed to the Italian Ministry of Health to obtain accreditation to the programme of Continuing Medical Education. Those interested in obtaining the credits will receive proper instructions on request. Students are not allowed to receive credits. SOCIAL DINNER On Saturday February 2 the Social Dinner with dance will be organized. For organizing reasons, those interested in participating are kindly requested to register and pay the related fee within October 31. After such date, requests will be accepted up to exhaustion of places.
