Law Society of Kenya CONSTITUTION OF KENYA: IMPLEMENTATION MATRIX This analysis reflects the action plan for implementation of the Constitution of Kenya. Action plan reflects only those activities that are directly mentioned or implied by Constitution of Kenya. As such, the analysis reflects the following: o Enactment of various Legislation under the Constitution, o Operationalization of the institutions and commissions, o Laws that need to be reviewed to be consistent with the Constitution; and o For Promotion of ownership of the Constitution by Kenyans through civic education. The matrix format describes the institution or legislations under the first column. The main activities are captured in the second column and seek to describe the needs to be met. The third column provides the expected output of the activities. The fourth column reflects the implementing agencies; while the last column reflects the time frame from the date of promulgation of the Constitution (27 th August 2010). 1
