Joe represents private parties and public agencies in state and federal courts throughout California. His cases have involved diverse areas of law, including business and contract law, consumer protection, class actions, elections and political law, civil rights defense, government organization and responsibility, labor and employment, and public revenue and taxation. Joe has a particular expertise in complex litigation, writs and appeals. He has represented parties in more than 100 appellate proceedings and has appeared in the Supreme Court of the United States, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the California Supreme Court and every district of the California Court of Appeal.
