About this Document This User Guide addresses the Remittance Web user interface. This document is designed to: Define the SBIC Remittance Web application for online banking Describe how the Remittance Web functions can be carried out Explain the contents of each screen About SBIC Remittances This section introduces the concept of remittance, defines the SBIC Remittances solution, and provides an introduction to the Remittance Web application. SBIC Remittance Application Features and Benefits SBIC Remittance Web Application Overview SBIC Remittance Web System Workflow What is Remittance? Remittance is defined as a transfer of funds to other countries. Typically, this is transfer of money is not only crosscountry but also cross-currency. The SBIC Remittance Web application allows you to initiate account-to-account remittance transactions from your SBIC bank accounts to recipient accounts in India. Features and Benefits Features Self-service (Web) international remittance capability Storing of sender and recipient data to enable repetitive transactions and reporting Operates in international environment: Cross-border and cross-currency Account-to-account remittance transfer Ability to search previous transactions and view remittance history Benefits Flexibility of access Remittance customers can perform remittances in-branch via a Teller or self-service via the Web. Tools for fraud detection. SBIC Remittance Web Application Overview The SBIC Remittance Web application is designed to make it simple and fast for you to set up and perform remittance transactions on your own via Consumer Online Banking (CoB). SBIC Remittance Web consists of two functional areas: Creating Remittances, in which international transfers can be created. Payments Search, in which you can search for your remittance payment history, print receipts, and revoke (cancel) eligible transactions. SBIC Remittance Web Remittance transactions can be created through online banking to new recipients or with details populated from existing recipients. Account Credit Remittances This remittance type requires the payment recipient to have a bank account into which the remittance funds may be deposited. You must provide the following information about the recipient s foreign bank account: The recipient s bank account number The recipient s bank name The name of the branch associated with the recipient s account The number of the branch associated with the recipient s account 3

Creating a New Remittance Transaction This section describes how you can use the SBIC Remittance solution to create a new remittance using the SBIC Remittance Web application. Log into CeB Online Banking You should register and log into online banking as appropriate and then access the SBIC Remittance Web application as shown in the following screen. Note: Please refer to your online banking documentation for details on how to access that application. You should launch the International Remittances/Remittance to India link in the Pay and Transfer tab. This will launch and automatically sign you on to the SBIC Remittance Web application, and will pass along your contact information and eligible accounts. Create a New Remittance Transaction The following Create New Remittance screen shows a "USD to INR" remittance transaction including all of the necessary fields. The individual sections of the screen will be broken down in more detail throughout this section of the document. Note: "USD to INR" is the only transaction type available for Web transactions; "USD to USD" transactions c a n be conducted at one of SBIC s local branches. 4

Entering the Sender Details The Create New Remittance - Sender Details screen is displayed with your information, which is automatically populated upon login. This information may not be manually edited. If you notice incorrect information that you wish to be changed, you must notify the bank to change its records. There is one optional field that is not automatically populated you may enter an alternate phone (Alt. Phone) number if desired. Phone Description Required fields containing your details and additional fields that must be populated to complete the transaction. Your given name. Your family name. Your street address. Additional field for your street address if needed. Your home city. Your home state. Your home postal code. Your electronic address. Your primary telephone number. Optional. Your alternate phone number. 5

Transaction Details - Sender & Recipient Enter your transaction details. 1. Enter in the Remit Amount in USD for the transaction. 2. Select the Destination Currency (INR) in which you want the Recipient to receive the remittance. 3. Click on Calculate FX to view the FX rate for the transaction. a. The Transfer Amount, Transfer Fees, and Total Debit will automatically be calculated and shown in the Transaction Details Sender section in the source currency. b. The Transfer Amount, Other Fees and Total to Recipient will automatically be calculated and shown in the Transaction Details Recipient section in the destination currency. 4. Select the Funding Account for the transaction. Note: If your funding account is not available within the Funding Account drop-down list, you will need to contact the Bank s support staff for assistance. Field Transaction Details - Sender Remit Amount Destination FX Rate Transfer Amount Transfer Fees Total Debit Funding Account Transaction Details Recipient Transfer Amount Other Fees Total to Recipient Description Required fields containing your bank details and additional fields that must be entered to complete the transaction. The amount in USD to be remitted to the recipient. The destination currency for the transaction (INR). The FX rate (exchange rate) to be used for the transaction. This rate will automatically be provided by the system. The amount in USD of the remittance transfer. This is the same as the Remit Amount and will automatically be populated based on the value provided in the Remit Amount field. The transfer fees in USD for the remittance. This field will automatically be populated. The total debit that will be made to your account for the remittance. This is equal to the Transfer Amount plus Transfer Fees. This field will be automatically calculated and populated. Your U.S. bank account that will be debited. This account may be changed on this page to any other entitled account in your name. View-only fields of the recipient amounts for the remittance transaction. The transfer amount in INR to be remitted to the recipient. This field will be automatically calculated based on your transfer amount. The fees (if any, if known) in INR to be charged to the recipient. This field will automatically be populated. The amount in INR to be credited to the recipient. This is equal to the recipient s Transfer Amount Other Fees and is shown in INR. This field will be automatically calculated. 6

Entering Recipient Details Select the radio button for: Existing Recipient If a previously created recipient has been selected, the recipient information fields will be automatically populated. You can accept the recipient s details or change them as needed. If changes are made to the recipient, the changes will automatically be saved upon clicking Preview to preview the transaction. New Recipient If a new recipient is desired, select the radio button for New Recipient and enter in the recipient details as appropriate. The recipient details will automatically be saved upon clicking Preview to preview the transaction. Phone Account Number Remittance Purpose Description The recipient details for the transaction. Radio button to select Existing Recipient option. Includes a drop-down list of previous recipients available for the remittance transaction. Includes Delete Recipient option to delete the selected recipient. Radio button to select New Recipient option for the remittance transaction. Required. The first name of the recipient. Optional. The middle name of the recipient. Required. The last name of the recipient. Optional. The second last name of the recipient. Required. Address line 1 of the recipient. Optional. Address line 2 of the recipient. Optional. Address line 3 of the recipient. Required. The country for the recipient. Optional. The phone number of the recipient. Optional. An alternate phone number for the recipient. Required. The account number for the recipient bank account. Note: After entry (or automatic population if an existing recipient is selected), the account number will be masked showing asterisks and the last 4 digits of the account number (e.g., *******9592). Required. Drop-down menu containing a list of available remittance purposes. 7

Entering Recipient Bank Details Note: For USD to INR transactions supported by the SBIC Remittance Web Application, the State, District, City, Bank, and Branch fields are provided via drop-down menus. Select these values as appropriate and the IFSC Code field will automatically be populated. Enter the transaction details for the recipient. 1. Select the State for the recipient bank. 2. Select the District for the recipient bank. 3. Select the City for the recipient bank 4. Select the Bank for the recipient bank. 5. Select the Branch for the recipient bank. 6. The IFSC Code will be automatically populated. Once all of the fields for Create New Remittance have been completed, click: Preview - to display the Create New Remittance Remittance screen to save changes and preview the remittance. Cancel - to cancel the Create New Remittance transaction. Preview the Remittance Transaction Below is the Preview screen for the remittance transaction. You have the option to perform any one of the following: Print the pre-disclosure Cancel the remittance transaction Edit the remittance transaction 8

Upon clicking the Print Pre-Disclosure button, the following pre-disclosure form screen will appear. You should print the pre-disclosure form using your internet browser s print function. 9

Confirm the Remittance Transaction After the pre-disclosure form has been viewed and/or printed, the Create New Remittance Remittance screen enables the Submit button, which may be clicked to complete the transaction. This screen also provides the option to Cancel the transaction or edit the transaction information. Note: If the Edit Payment button is clicked, the preview and pre-disclosure processes will need to be repeated in order to save changes and submit the transaction. 10

View/Print the Final Disclosure/Receipt After submitting the transaction, the final disclosure and receipt will appear on the screen. This screen may be printed for record keeping purposes as appropriate. Note: The final disclosure and receipt screen may be re-printed via the Payments Search facility, which will be described later in this document. 11

Upon closing the final disclosure and receipt, you will be returned to the Remittance Confirmation screen where all transactionn details are displayed along with the Payment ID. This is your reference number to use when searching or inquiring about a transaction. Note: This screen may be re-printed transaction. at this time or you may click on Createe New Payment to initiate another 12

Previous Remittance Search You have the ability to perform a search on previous remittance transactions by clicking on Search within the Payments Search screen. The Payment ID or other transaction details may be entered followed by clicking Search to initiate the transaction search. Note: Click on the Payment ID in the Search Results window to view the transaction details for the desired transaction number. Field Payment Details Payment ID Payment Status Payment Date From/To Recipient/Sender Details First Name Middle Name Last Name Second Last Other Payment Details Description The payment details for the transaction. The Payment ID issued at the time the remittance is created. This is the number appearing on the final disclosure and receipt. The status of the transaction. Valid statuses include: In Process, Processed, Cancelled, and Rejected. The payment date range for the transaction (e.g., 06-03-2015 to 06-10-2015). The recipients and your details for the transaction. The first name of the recipient and/or you. The middle name of the recipient and/or you. The last name of the recipient and/or you. The second last name of the recipient and/or you. The other payment details for the transaction. Transfer Amount From/To The transfer amount range (e.g., 0 to 1000). Currency The currency for the transaction. 13

Search Result for a Remittance Transaction All available details for the remittance are displayed along with the confirmation details. Field Confirmation details Transaction number Value date Status Description Display-only fields for the transaction The transaction number issued by the system at the time a transaction is created. The date on which the transaction is available to the recipient. The current status of the remittance transaction. Valid statuses include: In Process, Processed, Cancelled, and Rejected. Review the remittance transaction details, and then click: Cancel to return to the initial Inquire on a Remittance Transaction screen. Cancel Transaction to stop the remittance from being completed. 14
