OFFICE OF THE DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONER GOPALAN ENTERPRISES (GLOBAL AXIS HOODI) SEZ, BANGALORE CSEZ ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, KAKKANAD KOCHI - 682 037 Minutes of the 35 th Meeting (1/2017 Series) of the Approval Committee of Gopalan Enterprises (Global Axis Hoodi) SEZ, Bangalore held on 13 th January, 2017 The 35 th meeting (1/2017 series) of the Approval Committee of Gopalan Enterprises (Global Axis Hoodi) SEZ, Bangalore constituted under Section 13 of Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, was held on 13 th January, 2017 at 2.00 pm. in the Conference Room of SEZ Bhavan, Bangalore. The meeting was chaired by Dr.Safeena A.N., Development Commissioner, CSEZ. The list of members present is annexed (Annexure I). At the outset the Chairperson welcomed the members to the Unit Approval Committee Meeting. The following items in the agenda, circulated in advance, were taken up for consideration: A. Confirmation of the minutes: The minutes of the 34 th meeting (4/2016 series) of the Approval Committee held on 23 rd August, 2016 was confirmed. B. Action taken on decisions of the previous meeting held on 23 rd August, 2016: Action taken on the decisions/approvals of the 34 th meeting as reported was noted by the Committee. C. Proposals for consideration: I. Proposals of Developer / Co-developer II. Proposals for setting up of new unit(s) C.II.1 Application of M/s.ALTRAN Technologies India Private Limited, Bangalore for setting up a SEZ unit in Gopalan Enterprises (Global Axis Hoodi) SEZ, Bangalore for export of IT/ IT Enabled Services. The Committee considered the application and noted that the application was accompanied with all relevant documents as stipulated and conformed to all requirements of Rule 18(2) of SEZ Rules, 2006 and approved the proposal. 4
III. Miscellaneous proposals C.III.1 Application of M/s. Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India Private Limited, Bangalore, a unit in Gopalan Enterprises (Global Axis Hoodi) SEZ, Bangalore for enhancement of capacity of production The Approval Committee considered the proposal of enhancement of capacity of production/operation given by the Unit and ratified the approval granted by the Development Commissioner in file. C.III.2 Application of M/s. Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India Private Limited, Bangalore, a unit in Gopalan Enterprises (Global Axis Hoodi) SEZ, Bangalore for import of E-Class E220D (Right Hand Drive) car for testing of remote parking pilot application project. The Approval Committee after thorough deliberation approved the proposal of the Unit for duty free import of E-Class (E220D right hand drive) car free of cost from Daimler, Germany for testing of remote parking pilot application project and development of next version of the application subject to the condition that the Unit shall execute a separate BLUT for the value equivalent to the duty of imported car and shall adhere to any other directions imposed on a future date. C.III.3 Addition of ATM Services to the default uniform list of services The UAC has considered and approved the expansion of the existing default list of services after inclusion of ATM Services, making the total number of services to 67. As no other matter had come up for discussion, the Meeting ended at 3.45pm with vote of thanks to the Chair. Ltd., Bangalore is holding a Letter of Approval No.KA:26:09:H:2Q dated 30.09.2015 for their authorized operations of IT Enabled Services and software development service. The unit vide their letter dated 28 th March 2017 requested for approval to enhance capacity of production/operation for which an additional super built-up area of 41,892sq.ft. would be occupied on second floor in Block ABC(G). Consequent to expansion, projection for the first block of five year period has been revised by the unit as under: 7

The Unit meets the requirement of Positive NFE as required under Rule 18 (2) of the SEZ Rules, 2006 in the revised projection and has also submitted consent from the developer for allotment of additional space. Taking into consideration the above aspects, the Approval Committee may consider the above proposal for enhancement of capacity. D.
