Manual-- I Particulars of Organisation,functions and duties [ Section 4(1)(b)(i)] a) To lookafter the sanitation of the town b) To maintan its roads,drains & streetlights c) To manage the waste generated (both solid & liquid) from the town in a scientific manner. d) To impliment the schemes of Central Govt. & State Govt. on poverty alliviation. e) To plan the town in a scientific manner. 2 Mission/Vision a)council have a proposal to declare Marjakud polethyne free area by December-2008 b) Council have proposal to declair Boudh town as zero garbage town by December-2010 c) We have proposal to upgrade 50% of BPL families to APL by March-2012. 3 Brief history and back ground for its establishment Boudhgarh NAC is constituted in the year 1961.It is the only Urban Local Body in the District.
