Taking the Test Interview and Test Location USCIS Office: Philadelphia, PA 1600 Callowhill Street Philadelphia, PA 19130 The Interview and Exam A USCIS official will conduct the exam and interview. First, you will be questioned about your Form N-400 application and your background as a permanent U.S. resident. 5

The Interview and Exam Then, the USCIS officer will ask you questions about U.S. government and history. You must answer 6 out of 10 civics questions correctly. The Interview and Exam Lastly, you must demonstrate your ability to read and write English. You will need to read 1 sentence aloud, and then write another sentence on a piece of paper. 6
