President, Tim Sylvester would like to see the application made as Clay County. This grant is provided by the Elks Club. Tammy will get the application off of the internet. A discussion was had regarding the request of Max Yield to the Fostoria Fire Department to demolish the elevator. The Fostoria City Council is against this idea and Fire Chief Tim Kelsch felt there really is no bona fide training involved with burning an elevator. Many of the fire chiefs have been involved with demolitions and agreed that it is a huge liability. Tammy McKeever gave an EMS report. Communication center issues were discussed. The communication center has been provided with maps that give the closest service. If a fire chief needs assistance they can request help.
