3003 The Perry Local Board of Education met in regular session on Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m. at Whipple Elementary OPENING OF MEETING President Capuano called the meeting to order. The group demonstrated their ball handling skills during a three minute show. A video was also presented on the Whipple students and staff. Rebekah Silla and Stacy Daugherty presented the Board with an overview on servicing students with disabilities. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Melissa Day questioned the Board on the timeline for the decision of the softball coach and also on the billing process of the firm used to provide the independent investigation. FINANCE 2014-221 Bills for Payment Motion by Member Casey, Seconded by Member Ramos to approve bills for payment for the month of September, 2014 in the amount of $4,702,356.66. 3010 In accordance with Ohio Revised Code 3327.91, the Perry Board of Education declares it is impractical to provide transportation to the following students. The reason for such action is due to the cost of providing this transportation in terms of equipment, maintenance, and personnel due to the small amount of students to be transported. In lieu of transportation, payment will be made to the parents as established by state guidelines.
