Accomplished objecbves? Ø General objecbve: Improved of the labor condi&ons and safety of the work force in NRIC. Ø Specific objecbves: Achieved factor of labor trauma&sm in NRIC is Кlт- 0,91, which is lower than the average trauma&sm (Klt- 1,22) under the economic ac&vi&es. From the beginning of the year up to the moment we have 4 registered case of labor trauma&sm. For the same period of the last year the registered cases had been 9; Improvement of safety, health and produc&vity of the employees; Gaining of knowledge and skills for work with the new equipment; Becer produc&vity and effec&veness of the work force.

Task force Ø 3800 employee of NRIC working in the fields of maintenance and repairing of the railway lines in different weather condi&ons wearing a special working clothes and working with special equipment.

Task force Employees of NRIC working in the following units: Ø Maintenance and repairing of the railway lines and equipment; Ø Maintenance and repairing of signaling and tele- communica&on equipment; Ø Maintenance and repairing of the catenary; Ø Rapid response units for recovering of the railway traffic in case of accidents and incidents.

Financing and durabon of the project Ø Financing Total amount of the project 232 540 лв. GFC (ESF + EFRD) 186 032 лв. Ø DuraBon 12 months June 2013 September 2014 (temporary interrup.on for 2 months)

Special working clothes Ø Water resistance suit: jacket with hood and trouser with signaling elements for becer visibility. Ø The general purpose of the suit is protec&on of the employees from the impact of different weather condi&ons and from vehicles moving along the railway line.

Delivered equipment Ø Polyester sapans used for equipment of the railways cranes working for recovering of the railway traffic aoer accidents or incidents; Ø Reducing the heavy physical labor during the work with the exis&ng steel sapans (especially when is necessary their movement from one place to the other); Ø The polyester sapans are not so heavy, they are more reliable, required significantly less number of employees to work with them and do not influence the health and the abili&es of the employees.

Training Ø Performed training for safety exploita&on of the new equipment DuraBon of the training: 45 hours Form of the training every day lectures

Theore&cal part: Training Module 1- Introduc&on and horizontal principles: 1. General requirements for safety work 2. Rights, requirements and responsibili&es of the employees, related with safety work. 3. Circled sapans from polyester fibers: 3.1. Defini&on, construc&on, terms and marking 3.2. Color codding. 3.3. Table for hois&ng capacity. 4. Determina&on of working angel and choice of sapans

Theore&cal part: Training Module 2 Working with the new equipment: 1. Safety requirements 1.1. Signs and signals 1.2. Collec&ve protec&ve equipment. 1.3. Personal protec&ve equipment /PPE/ 2. Instruc&ons for exploita&on: 2.1. Control and check- up of sapans. 2.2. Way of exploita&on and types of catches. 2.3. Exploita&on in extreme working and weather condi&ons. 3. Keeping and condi&ons for discarding.
