A Bill to Establish a Two-State Solution 0 SECTION. The United States shall recognize the state of Palestine and help establish its sovereignty through diplomatic mediation and developmental aid. SECTION. A. The United States shall recognize the current Israeli territory encompassing Gaza and the below the st Parallel as the sovereign area of Palestine. B. The United States shall grant $00 million over a ten year period in developmental aid to set up and enable an effective provisionary Palestinian government to be instituted. C. The United States shall be willing to act as an intermediator between Palestine and Israel to peacefully implement this legislation. SECTION. The Department of State and the USAID shall implement this legislation. SECTION. A. The United States shall recognize Palestine upon passage. B. A Bill to Terminate Critical Life Support After 0 Days 0 SECTION. v SECTION. SECTION. SECTION. SECTION. A. Patients that have been kept alive for 0 days by life support without any improvement in medical condition shall be removed from said life support. B. If the family/friends/dependents of a patient wish to keep that patient on life support, they may pay for the services out-of-pocket. A. Life support shall be defined as the use of a ventilator on a patient who demonstrates no brain activity. B. Improvement in medical condition as any demonstration of brain activity. C. Out-of-pocket shall be defined that medical insurance shall not be obligated to finance this choice. This bill will be implemented by the Department of Health & Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control. A. When a patient with no brain activity is put on life support, a clock shall be started. When that clock reaches 0 days, if no change in brain condition has been registered, life support shall be removed. The count of 0 days before the removal of life support (for patients currently on life support) shall begin immediately upon the passage of this bill. Space Corporations shall be defined as all public and private actors involved in developing and providing space-enabled products and services including vehicles, satellites, boosters, technology, and tools for use in space. SECTION. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will oversee the enforcement of this bill by. A. Developing a grant application and requirements for the awarding of the grant; and, B. Evaluating grant applications to determine the distribution of funds with the goal of achieving large-scale space debris removal operations by 00. SECTION. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) shall give $. billion to Colombia, Brazil, and Guyana in order to provide humanitarian services for incoming Venezuelan refugees. Humanitarian services shall be defined as the distribution of medical supplies, food, water, and other human necessities. A. USAID shall enforce this legislation and determine how much of the funding is apportioned to the stated countries. The first half of the aid shall be given immediately upon passage. The second half will be granted to the named countries if USAID determines they have not excluded Venezuelan refugees from public services nor the labor market. B. Funding for this legislation shall be diverted from the Department of Defense s budget. This legislation shall go into effect immediately after passage. A BILL TO PERMIT THE IMPORTATION OF PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION FROM CANADA 0 BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT: SECTION. A. The United States Department of Health and Human Services shall allow prescription medication that has been approved for use in Canada to be imported into as well as sold in the United States. B. On behalf of Medicare Part D, the Secretary of Health and Human Services shall be authorized to negotiate drug prices with domestic pharmaceutical companies as well as Canadian manufacturers of drugs approved by Health Canada. SECTION. A. Prescription medication shall be defined as a pharmaceutical drug that requires a medical practitioner s authorization for access. B. Medication that has been approved for use in Canada must have been approved by the department Health Canada. SECTION. The Department of Health and Human Services will oversee the implementation of this bill. SECTION. This bill will take into effect immediately after passage. SECTION.
