ROLL CALL Present Bosse, Godwin, Huster, Kellums, Rainey Absent None APPROVAL OF MEETING AGENDA No. 172-17 Mrs. Kellums moved, seconded by Mr. Godwin, to approve the Meeting Agenda of the special meeting of June 21, 2017. TEMPORARY APPROPRIATIONS MEASURE No. 178-17 Mrs. Kellums moved, seconded by Mrs. Huster, to approve the following temporary appropriations measure for the 2017-2018 school year: 191

WHEREAS it is desired to postpone the passage of the Annual Appropriations Resolution until an Amended Official Certificate of Estimated Resources for the year beginning July 1, 2017 is received from the County Budget Commission, and to pass a temporary resolution for meeting the ordinary expenses of this school district until the effective date of the Annual Appropriations Resolution; and WHEREAS Section 5705.38 of the Ohio Revised Code provides that a temporary appropriations measure may be passed to meet ordinary expenses until not later than October 1 of the current fiscal year. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Education of the Deer Park Community City School District of Hamilton County that to provide for the current expenses and other expenditures of said Board for the period July 1, 2017 until the effective date of the Annual Appropriations Resolution for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018 the following sums be, and the same are hereby set aside and appropriated for the several purposes for which expenditures are to be made for and during said period as follows: 192

BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board of Education as authorized by Sections 3313.18 and 3313.20 of the Ohio Revised Code hereby dispenses with the adoption during the 2018 fiscal year of resolutions: a. Authorizing the purchase of property, except real estate. b. Authorizing payment of debts or claims, the salaries of superintendent, teachers, and other employees. c. Approving warrants for the payment of any claim from school funds. d. Approving attendance of the treasurer, superintendent, or designates at professional meetings. APPROVAL OF TREASURER S FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND No. 179-17 Mrs. Kellums moved, seconded by Mr. Godwin, to approve the Treasurer s $50,000.00 Faithful Performance Bond for the period of 03/27/2017 through 08/01/2019, pursuant to section 3313.25 ORC. A copy of the bond is to be filed with the County Auditor. 193
