RESOLUTION NO. 17-251 A Resolution granting approval to Fire Protection District No. 8 of Livingston Parish, Louisiana to call and hold an election on November 18, 2017 to authorize the renewal of a 16.63 mills tax on assessed valuation of all property subject to taxation in Fire Protection District No. 8 of Livingston Parish, Louisiana, for a period of ten (10) years for the purposes of maintaining and operating the District's fire protection facilities, for purchasing fire truck and other fire fighting equipment and paying the cost of obtaining water for fire protection purposes, including charges for the hydrant rentals and services.
