Approval, Donations 22 Approval Dan McDowell the Director of Instructional Technology at Grossmont Union High School District has donated 4 used Aver classroom computer carts to Jamul Dulzura Union School District. The Superintendent recommends approval of this donation. 5. Approval, Small School Districts Association Membership Renewal 25 Approval Professional memberships paid by the District must be approved by the Board of Trustees annually. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that Small School Districts Association (SSDA) membership dues for 2017-2018 be renewed for all board members and the superintendent. The total fee for membership is $1,000. 6. Approval, Blackboard Connect Revised Service Agreement 27 Approval Submitted for approval is a one year revised agreement with Blackboard Connect to provide our all call system. The previous contract was approved for 638 recipients. This agreement has been revised to reflect the correct number of recipients to 700. 7. Approval, Renewal Notice for Imagine Learning Annual Subscription 29 Approval Submitted for approval is the 2017-2018 annual subscription for a web based program to help develop English Language and Literacy. The cost for 75 licenses is $11,250. 8. Approval, Renewal Notice for NoodleTools Annual Subscription 31 Approval Submitted for approval is the 2017-2018 annual subscription for NoodleTools a web-based student research service that helps students correctly site sources. The yearly cost for this subscription is $315. 9. Approval, Revised Renewal Notice for Northwest Evaluation Association 33 Approval (NWEA) Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Submitted for Board approval is a revised one year agreement with NWEA to provide a web-based platform that provides Measures of Academic Progress in math and reading preparing students for the State mandated CAASPP tests. The number of users has been increased and science has been added. The revised amount is $6,980. 10. Approval, Renewal Notice for Renaissance Learning-Accelerated Reader 36 Approval and Star Reading Annual Subscription for Grades KN-8 Submitted for approval is the 2017-2018 renewal for Renaissance Learning-Accelerated Reader and Star Reading. 11. Approval, Renewal Notice for Sumdog Annual Subscription 44 Approval Submitted for approval is the 2017-2018 renewal for Sumdog for Jamul Primary and Jamul Intermediate Schools. The yearly cost to renew is $950. 12. Approval, Renewal Notice for Typing Club Annual Subscription 46 Approval Submitted for approval is the 2017-2018 renewal for Typing Club for Oak Grove Middle School. GSDA wishes to reduce inventory in high school textbooks due to decline in high school enrolment, implementation of Edgenuity, and outdated content. 6. Approval, Floating Lab Field Trip Agreement 52 Approval Submitted for approval is an agreement for SDCOE Science Outreach Program to provide the Marine Science Floating Lab for $700 for up to 40 people. K. ACTION ITEMS 1. Approval, Resolution 081517.1 District Support of the County of 57 Approval San Diego LIVE WELL SAN DIEGO Submitted for Board approval is this resolution in support of the Live well San Diego vision and partnership. 2. Approval, East County SELPA Assurance Statements 60 Approval Submitted for Board Approval, East County SELPA is in the process of revising its 2017-18 Local Plan for Special Education in order to make minor updates consistent with changes in special education funding and its impact on the Local Plan. One of the requirements is for local LEA s to have their board review and adopt the assurance statements. 3. Approval, Agreement for Multiple Measures Assessment Reporting 65 Approval System (MMARS) for the 2017-2018 Academic Year Submitted for Board Approval, is the agreement with MMARS for the 2017-2018 academic year. The cost for this service will not exceed $1,351. 4. Approval, San Diego County Office of Education, BTSA 68 Approval Agreement 2017-2018 Submitted for Board approval is an agreement with SDCOE to provide Page 4 of 6

Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment oversight/services for our 4 participating teachers and 2 support providers. This agreement is for September 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 at a cost of $1,000 per participating teacher. 5. Approval, to Execute Project Addendum #2 to Memorandum of 71 Approved Understanding for Undertaking CollectiveAction Submitted for Board approval is the addendum #2 to Memorandum of Understanding for undertaking collective action. In order to participate in the extended coalition, it is necessary to execute project addendum #2 to the MOU which describes the new initiative. The estimated cost to participate is $1,264. 6. Approval, Independent Contractor Contract, David Maidlow 76 Approval Submitted for Board approval is an Independent Contractor Contract with David Maidlow for consulting services for the District s Special Education program for the 2017-2018 school year. The hourly rate for services is $75/hr. The total contract amount shall not exceed $4,000. 7. Approval, Independent Contractor Contract, Susan Neville 78 Approval Submitted for Board approval is an Independent Contractor Contract with Susan Neville to provide credentialed nursing services for the 2017-2018 school year. The hourly rate for services is $50/hr. The total contract amount shall not exceed $8,000. 8. Approval, License Agreement Between JDUSD and Laura Lopez 80 Approval Attached is the License Agreement between Jamul-Dulzura Union School District and Laura Lopez. The purpose of this agreement is to provide security services to Oak Grove Middle School for the benefit, and at the full discretion, of the District. The above agreement has been offered to, and accepted by, Laura Lopez. The contract is submitted for approval at this time. GSDAHS 1. Approval, Replace A/C Unit at La Mesa Site 89 Approved Submitted for Board approval is a proposal to change out the 5 ton heat pump 3phase unit. Not to exceed $10,957. L. ADJOURNMENT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION In order to help ensure participation in the meeting of disabled individuals, appropriate disability-related accommodations or modifications shall be provided by the Board, upon request, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Persons with a disability who require a disability-related accommodation or modification, including auxiliary aids and services in order to participate in a Board meeting, shall contact the Superintendent or designee in writing by noon on the Friday before the scheduled meeting.
