As part of the project we will be adding landscaping to the site as per the land development code. The land development code requires a 15 foot wide Type D buffer along the North property line, and other buffers on each property line. Due to the existing facilities it is not possible to meet the code requirements for a 250' section of the north property line due to the location of the existing facilities and fence locations. Please find the attached application for a variance to the buffer requirements on this property. The variance request is to eliminate the buffer requirements for the section along the north property line where there physically is not enough room for a buffer. The drawings attached to the application should show the area'were it is not possible to meet the code. It is a section of the property measuring approximately 250' of the entire 650' property line. The drawings are for reference only and should not be considered final plans. The landscaping drawings will be updated pending the decision of the requested variance.
