Kuzio joined the meeting at 8:35 a.m. Murray Green, Camrose Booster, joined the meeting at 8:40 a.m. 2015 Grader Tender G. Backus reviewed the quotation for the purchase of two (2) 2015 John Deere 870GP's from Brant Tractor and the trade in offers for John Deere 870GP Unit GO195 and the 2010 John Deere 870GP Unit GO196. Discussion ensued regarding the pros and cons of all wheel drive graders. #429/14 1593 G. GILLESPIE - That Camrose County purchase (2) 2015-872GP all wheel drive graders from Brant Tractor, Edmonton at the submitted tender price including the standard 5 yr. Guaranteed Trade-in Amount five year full machine warranty F.O.B. Machine, the supply and the supply and install a new ripper, and the purchase and installation of a new B.E.S.L. mast less hydraulic wing, for the total price of Seven Hundred and Thirty Two Thousand Dollars ($732,000.00) plus G.S.T. with funding to come under the 2015 capital budget. #430/14 J. LYLE - That motion #429/14 be Tabled until the next council meeting scheduled for September 23, 2014 in order to obtain comments from grader operators and cost implications. G. Backus and A. Kruger left the meeting at 9:15 a.m. PROTECTIVE SERVICES REPORT Protective Services Manager's Report M. Kuzio reviewed the Protective Services Manager's Report for August 2014. Request received from Council for Peace Officers to keep an eye out for anything that seems out of place such as possible unauthorized development. #431/14 G. GILLESPIE - That the Protective Services Manager's Report for August 2014 be accepted as information. M. Kuzio left meeting at 9:30 a.m. NEW/UNFINISHED BUSINESS NSWA Board of Directors Request for Member P. King reported that we are in receipt of a request from the North Saskatchewan Watershed Alliance (NSWA) for a Councillor to sit as a member of the Board of Directors from now until the Annual General Meeting in June 2015.

Howard reported on the Battle River Watershed Alliance Proposal - Camrose Source Water Protective Initiative partnering with Camrose County and the City of Camrose in completing a plan. The BRWA has agreed to create a plan for $17,500, this cost to be split equally between Camrose County and the City of Camrose. #433/14 1585 D. LYSENG - That Council authorize $8,750 in funding to the BRWA to assist in the development of the Camrose Source Water Protection Initiative as required by the current Camrose IDP with funding to come from Planning Budget - Hired Contractors. Water Connection Fee - City of Camrose/NW 14-47-20-W4 P. King reviewed a letter received from the City of Camrose granting approval to amend the Water Supply and Wastewater Services Agreement regarding the Residential Subdivision of Braim to allow an additional water service connection on SW 14-47-20-W4 for a fee of $169,486.00. #434/14 1591 T. MILLER - That Camrose County send a letter to the City of Camrose Council, under the Reeve's signature, requesting that the water connection fee for the SW 14-47-20-W4 be reviewed and adjusted to reflect the average cost of a single family domestic water supply connection within the City boundaries. Krause reported on the Parkland Library Committee meeting he attended on September 4, 2014. Bashaw Seed Cleaning Plant J. Lyle reported he attended a Bashaw Seed Cleaning Plant meeting on September 4, 2014. Hwy 12/21 Regional Water Commission J. Lyle reported he attended a Hwy 12/21 Regional Water Commission meeting on September 3, 2014. Shirley McClellan Regional Water Service Commission J.
