(17-1293) Resolution Approving Street Preventative Maintenance Program (SPMP) FY 2018 Annual Work Plan (Year 5) 3. (17-1350) Motion authorizing City Manager, or designee, to execute an agreement with Garner Environmental Services, Inc. of Deer Park, TX to secure the City with the required equipment and services on an as-needed basis in the event of an emergency or disaster for a total amount of $200,000.00 based on the cooperative purchasing program with the Local Government Purchasing Cooperative dba General Services Administration s (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule 084 GS-07F-0403X. The term of the agreement is for four years. 4. (17-1353) Second Reading Ordinance - Amendment to Lease with Padre Island Yacht Club (28-Day Delay Required) (1st Reading 11/7/17) 5. (17-1383) Ordinance adopting a new Area Development Plan for the City of Corpus Christi titled "The Downtown Area Development Plan"; Rescinding the Central Business Development Plan adopted by City Council ordinance #092842, May 21, 2013; amending the boundaries of the Downtown Area Development Plan to include North Beach; providing for severance; and providing for publication. 6. (17-1386) Ordinance Granting to Nueces Electric Cooperative, Its Successors And Assigns, A Non-Exclusive Franchise To Construct, Maintain And Operate Lines And Appurtenances And Appliances For Conducting Electricity In, Over, Under And Through The Streets, Avenues, Alleys And Public Rights-Of-Way Of The City Of Corpus Christi, Texas. 7. 8. (17-1425) Motion approving the purchase of a 2018 Pierce impel pumper from Siddons- Martin Emergency Group, Houston, Texas for a total amount of $667,840.00. The award is based on the cooperative purchasing agreement with Local Government Purchasing Cooperative, dba BuyBoard. Funds are budgeted by the Fire Stations Fund in FY 2017-2018. 9. (17-1426) Use of $3.4 Million for Residential Street Reconstruction Program (RSRP) 10. (17-1430) Motion authorizing City Manager, or designee, to approve the purchase of ten police motorcycles with a four-year service maintenance agreement from Corpus Christi Harley-Davidson of Corpus Christi, Texas in response to Request for Bid No. 1284 based on the lowest responsive, responsible bid for a total amount not to exceed $454,671.50 of which $283,656.50 is funded in FY2017-18. 11. (17-1432) Resolution authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute a Second Amendment to the Reformed Cooperative Agreement between the City of Corpus Christi and the County of Nueces County, Texas to Operate a Public Health District to be effective October 1, 2017. 12. (17-1446) Resolution approving the Director of the Corpus Christi Nueces County Public Health District s appointment of Dr. William Burgin, Jr. to serve as the Local Health Authority for the Public Health District for a two-year term beginning December 18, 2017 and ending December 18, 2019. 13. (17-1456) Ordinance adding Chapter 53, Section 178 Barge Dock Parking to the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances to prohibit parking at barge dock from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.; and providing an effective date, for severance, for penalty and for publication. 14. (17-1465) Resolution approving the City's investment policy. 15. (17-1466) Ordinance authorizing the issuance of City of Corpus Christi, Texas Utility System Subordinate Lien Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2018 in an amount not to exceed $34,835,000; making provisions for the payment and security thereof by a subordinate and inferior lien on and pledge of the net revenues of the City s Utility System; stipulating the terms and conditions for the issuance of additional revenue bonds on a parity therewith; prescribing the form, terms, conditions, and resolving other matters incident and related to the issuance, sale and delivery of the bonds; including the approval of an application to the Texas Water Development Board; authorizing the execution of a paying agent/registrar agreement, a financing agreement, and an escrow agreement; complying with the requirements imposed by the letter of representations previously executed with the depository trust company; complying with the regulations promulgated by the Texas Water Development Board; delegating the authority to certain members of the City staff to execute certain documents relating to the sale of the bonds; enacting other provisions incident and related to the subject and purpose of the ordinance; and providing an effective date. 16. (17-1468) Motion authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to approve the purchase 150 Laserfiche licenses and renewal of the Laserfiche Rio software maintenance and support from MCCI, LLC of Tallahassee, Florida, BuyBoard #465-14, for a total expenditure of 12/1/2017 2:44 PM 8
$204,117 for Fiscal Year 2017-2018, with option to purchase additional licenses and continued Laserfiche Rio software maintenance and support from MCCI, LLC annually subject to appropriation of funds. Funds are available in the Information Technology Department FY2017-2018 budget and will be requested in future budget years. 17. (17-1471) Ordinance closing, abandoning and vacating a 0.014 acre parcel of public rightof-way, portion out of Los Angeles Hills, Block 1, Lots 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, and 45, a map of which is recorded in Volume 4, Page 26, Map Records of Nueces County, Texas and requiring the owner, Corpus Christi Produce Company, Inc., to comply with specified conditions. 18. (17-1473) Ordinance amending the Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances, Plumbing Code to allow third-party inspection reporting system; authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute a one year agreement with Brycer, LLC, of Warrenville, IL for a third-party inspection reporting system; providing for penalties; providing for severance; and providing for publication. 19. (17-1474) Street Operations Department - Reinstating the Rework Function 20. (17-1486) Resolution ratifying the submission of 4 grant applications in the amount totaling $141,817.88 to the Texas Office of the Governor - Homeland Security Grant Division, Homeland Security Grant Program for training and equipment. 21. (17-1487) Motion to reinstate and extend Service Agreement No.946 with Brio Consulting, LLC, and authorize the City Manager or designee to execute Amendment No. 2 for one year of software hosting and support services for $39,600.00 with options to extend for up to four additional one-year- periods and subject to a possible annual year increase not-toexceed the U.S. rate of inflation, with a total potential multi-year amount not-to-exceed approximately $212,000.00. 22. (17-1488) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute all documents necessary to accept 4 grants totaling of $141,817.88 from the Texas Office of the Governor - Homeland Security Grant Division, Homeland Security Grant Program for training and equipment; and appropriating $141,817.88 from the Texas Office of the Governor - Homeland Security Grant Division, Homeland Security Grant Program into the No. 1062 Fire Grants Fund to carry out homeland security projects.
