o Worked as the facilitated at the National Consultation organized by the Parliamentary Committee on Empowerment of Women and the National Commission for Women to forge a consensus on women s quota in Indian Parliament. New Delhi 21 st August 2003 o Testified before the Joint Parliamentary Committee and offered inputs in support of the then 81 st Constitutional Amendment Bill about the reservation of seats for women in Parliament and State Legislative Assemblies.14 th Nov.1996 o Organized a public hearing for the Parliamentary Standing Committee of the Dept of Commerce, Govt. of India and also testified before it about Empowerment of Women in Leather Industry.
