He has cleared National Eligibility Test for lectureship conducted by U.G.C on International and Area Studies. Prior joining SPIESR, he was UGC-Post Doctoral Fellow (J.N.U); Associate Fellow, Indian Institute of Dalit Studies; and as project Researcher in C.S.R.D., School of Social Sciences, JNU, New Delhi. He has visited one year to School of Liberal Studies, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar. He is having thirteen years of teaching and research experience, including nine years after Ph.D. He is trained in Academic Capacity Building and methodology Module from International Development Department, University of Birmingham in 2007. He has presented eleven papers in International and National seminars and invited as resource person on various occasions. He had completed three international and one national research projects on South Asia, South East & South West Pacific, Central Asia and India. Apart from India he has also undertaken various research work on Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, China, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Netherland, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Government of Republic of Kazakhstan had given him special academic grant for research on Kazakhstan. He is recognised as Ph.D guide by JJTU, Rajasthan. His book was published by an international publishing-house and he co-authored a book Published by sage. He has till date, eleven research papers published in referred journals, edited books, working papers and four project reports. He has visited European, South Asian and Central Asian Countries for his academic and research pursuit. He has visited various universities in U.K. with the short term fellowship sponsored by U.G.C to School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London and Centre of Euro-Asian Studies, University of Reading. He has organised International Seminar in Kathmandu, Nepal and India. He was an observer and monitored an international workshop in Chittagong University, Bangladesh, as research co-ordinator for South Asia in Danish project. He is a member of international and national professional bodies i.e. The Economic Research Institute (ERI), Ministry of Economics and Budget Planning, Republics of Kazakhstan and also signed MoU with ERI for academic collaboration, member of Indian Defence and Strategic Analyses, New Delhi, and member of Indian Political Science Association, Meerut (U.P) A comparative study on India and Kazakhstan is going on and this research project is sponsored by Indian Council for Social Science Research, MHRD, New Delhi. Area of Interest: Development Studies, Governance and Public Policy, International Development, Political Economy, Human Security, Diversity and Development-Marginalised groups and ethnicity. 1
