About the Event Tinsel & Tails Holiday Petacular is a celebration of not only the most remarkable pet adoption stories of 2016, but also the undeniable power of healing that pets bring into our lives. Tinsel & Tails is the shelter s largest, annual fundraising event selling out Ritz Charles each year with over 600 business owners, political leaders and animal advocates in attendance. You are definitely reaching the who s who of Hamilton County and the surrounding areas. The evening begins with cocktails and a silent auction with over 100 unique items, original artwork and gift packages to peruse. Then, a formal dinner and unforgettable presentation featuring some very special animals adopted through our Survivor & Pets Healing Vets Programs. And then, the highlight all the featured animals and their adopters take the runway to standing ovations and cheers. There are few dry eyes in the house. We are very excited to announce this year s event emcees: Dean Metcalf, Executive Producer of the Bob & Tom Show, Chris Denari-- voice of the Indiana Pacers and standup comedian Scott Long seen on NBC and FOX TV.
