BIRTHDAYS President s Message: Hi, everyone! Happy 2018! Six of us met at Boulevard Cafe in Petaluma on Jan. 20th. It was a fun group with Jim, Pat, Dennis, Dee Dee, Mike and I in attendance. Two were out with flu and two were away on winter vacation and would have been at the meeting otherwise. Mike and I discussed some of the topics at the CTCI Board meeting in Signal Hill, Jan.11-13th. It was a very informative and interesting meeting. It was especially nice to meet and socialize with several members from across the USA! We also discussed the membership of our club and hope to recruit more members this year. I'm encouraging members to join us as we travel across the USA to Knoxville, TN. August 15-19th. You can drive your Bird, other car or fly in. Just make sure you get your hotel reservations soon. There are many hotels involved and all are within walking distance to the convention center. Also, if anyone finds out about a fun event between a Tech Tip: Check your battery---they probable go scheduled meeting we all agreed to email or text each dead after ten years!! member with the information. Dee Dee and Dennis will be hosting the next meeting/event on Saturday, April 7th to St. Anne s Crossing Winery on Hwy. 12. It will be a wonderful opportunity to drive our T-Birds to a lovely destination in Sonoma County. Complete information included in this newsletter. We had a real treat after our meeting when we all got to see and sit in Dennis & Dee Dee's 2018 Tesla 3!! It is black and beautiful and featured in this issue. CTCI Early Bird update: There is an error page 7 of the current issue with the incorrect photo of the Region 3 Direrctor. The editor assured me there will be a correction in the next issue. If anyone wants to meet at the Petaluma Fairgrounds and caravan to St. Anne s Crossing let Maryanne and Mike know.
