Legislative Assembly Province of Alberta No. 30 VOTES AND PROCEEDINGS Fourth Session Twenty-Seventh Legislature Thursday, April 28, 2011 The Deputy Speaker took the Chair at 1:30 p.m. The Deputy Speaker offered a prayer and a moment of silence was observed in recognition of people killed or injured in the workplace. Ministerial Statements Hon. Mr. Lukaszuk, Minister of Employment and Immigration, made a statement recognizing April 28, 2011, as the National Day of Mourning. Hon. Mr. Hancock, Government House Leader, requested and received the unanimous consent of the Assembly to waive Standing Order 7(1.1) in order to complete Ministerial Statements. Mr. MacDonald, Hon. Member for Edmonton-Gold Bar, commented on the statement. The Deputy Speaker requested and received the unanimous consent of the Assembly to allow additional Members to comment on the Ministerial Statement. Mr. Anderson, Hon.
