Purchase of one (1) Portable, Trailer-mounted Generator General Items Authorize the purchase of one (1) portable, trailer-mounted generator to Multiquip of Carson, CA, in the total amount of $98,685.69, by using the Sourcewell Cooperative purchasing contract #052015-MTQ, by finding it is in the best interest of the City 16. Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grant 17. Five-Year Housing Strategy A. Accept award of a 2017 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) Grant in the amount of $1,531,334 for the hiring of nine new limited-term (three years) full-time fire recruits B. Authorize the Finance Director to modify the Fire Department s budget to make supplemental appropriations to appropriate revenue and expenditure accounts Discussion and direction to staff regarding a five-year housing strategy 18.
