Joshi, AEE, BMW On the basis of the decisions taken in the meeting held on 31-01-2007, 475 health care institutions are those who had not applied for renewal for authorization under Bio-Medical Rules and are supposed to be issued notices. DPCC has issued the show cause notices to 510 units as against 475 and the additional 35 cases are of newly expired category. These cases have been given 15 days time to respond. MS is to review these cases in first week of March. 375 cases were supposed to be studied by SEE and the reasons for their pendancy to be explained to Chairman by SEE. File was put up without any contribution from SEE. The amounts to dereliction of duties on the part of SEE. MS may now study these cases and reason of delay are to be reported by first week of March,07. Out of 57 public s, 8 hospitals belongs to 0-49 bed strength category and status of remaining 49 hospitals is as follows: a. Valid authorization - 07 b. Decided in the meeting dated 31-1-2007 & 19-2-2007-20 c. Remaining cases - 22 In this meeting, 34 cases of government hospitals were taken up, but only 10 nos. cases of large hospitals could be decided by the committee due to want of time.
