MAYOR'S REPORTS, ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REMARKS Henderson s Pharmacy will celebrate 75 years of service to the City of Thorold with an anniversary ceremony planned for May 30, 2014. Royal Canadian Legion will hold their annual Decoration Day march and ceremony on June 1, 2014. Canadian Blood Services will hold a Blood Donor Clinic at Holy Rosary Church Hall on June 4, 2014. Thorold Lions Club is seeking donations of unused prescription eyeglasses. Drop boxes are located in stores throughout the municipality. Niagara North Community Legal Assistance has launched BeFAIR a program related to elder financial abuse and response. 4.a. Councillor Ferry invited the public to attend the MYAC Youth Talent Show being held on May 31, 2014 at Battle of Beaverdams Park. 2. Councillor Preiner suggested the City of Thorold contribute a memento to the Henderson's Pharmacy time capsule. Mayor Luciani advised that the City of Thorold will be contributing an item.
