BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONER S MINUTES FEBRUARY 8, 2016 Harold Haralson led in Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. The regular scheduled meeting of the Board of Cleveland County Commissioners was called to order this 8 th day of February 2016 in the meeting Room 200 of the Cleveland County Office Building by Chairman Rod Cleveland. Tammy Belinson, County Clerk/Secretary, called roll and those present were: Rod Cleveland, Chairman Harold Haralson, Vice-Chairman Darry Stacy, Member Tammy Belinson, Secretary Others present were: Assistant District Attorney Heather Darby, Linda Atkins, Denise Ellison, George Mauldin, Laura Smith, Melinda Duke, Bryan Jenkins, Susan Burr, Christine Cartmell, Rhiana Caldwell, A.J. During Commissioner s discussions about County Business, Commissioner Harold Haralson urged everyone to use caution due to current weather conditions to prevent fires. Commissioner Darry Stacy said that the warmer temperatures are putting them ahead for next year on some road projects. Laying asphalt in the east part of the county will begin on Etowah and Franklin Roads soon. Commissioner Rod Cleveland said Little Axe School approached him to help with some dirt work since voters passed a bond issue on January 12 th, 2016 to build safe rooms. Commissioner Stacy said that he will be more than happy to assist Little Axe School. F. There were no comments made by the Public. G. There being no further business to come before the Board, Darry Stacy moved that the meeting be adjourned at 1:05 pm. Rod Cleveland seconded the motion.
