I know all the IH collectors had a very good time this past season attending the IH shows and the shows close to your homes. The fall and it's rain made it hard to get the harvesting done, some of the crops are still in the field as it was to wet to get to them, all in all the yield was above average. The crops left in the fields will give the wild life something to eat this winter. The national Auction went over well with some prices above average and some below average. I sure do thank all the members and their loved ones for working at the auction. The total sales for the auction was $250,254.50 and the club income was $2888.00. I had to let my collection go at the auction do to my health, I did not want my wife to go thru the work of selling it and being it was nation 1

At our board meeting Nov. 19 we voted to set the meal price at $10.00 for the Dec meeting only, all other meetings at Arlington will be $15.00 as we have extra cost involved (hall rent $250.00, coffee $75.00) and the price of the meal lets the club with 1 or 2 dollars profit. Our farm visits will be determined on the cost of meals, port a pot, tables and chairs. The above items is why it is important to call if you are coming or not (myself or Kathy), if the food runs out and you did not call, blame yourself not the club. We will be putting the 25 poinsettias as door prizes plus other items brought in. If you are interested in running for director let Bill Ridal know before the meeting so we can make up the ballets. We WILL be voting on having a RPRU or not having the RPRU. (members only) there will a ballet for working at the RPRU if it is voted to have one this is for all people at the meeting (there are more non members working at our outings than members so we thought they should have a say in this). 2

This will be the last newsletter you will get from me as I am not running for a another term, it has been a pleasure being on the board and your President, it has been trying at times but we made it thru a lot of issues and I learned a lot about the running of State and National Shows. Again, I want to say thank you to all the members of MN Chapter 15. You are the people that make the club what it is today. MEMBERSHIP REPORT Chapter 15 membership dues are payable as of March 1 st. Such as March 1, 2017 for this next year. The National organization removes unpaid National members June 1. I remove the Chapter unpaid members shortly after June 1. I provide forms at the December meeting and a number of members pay then and I give them their membership card at the March meeting. That approach saves them and Chapter 15 postage. I send out dues notices to unpaid members about February 1 st. The dues notices are sent in a window envelope and include your telephone numbers and Email address on the letter. Therefore you can see what information I have on file for you and you can make corrections on the portion of the letter you send back with your dues. The Club has 351 members as of November 25, 2016. Recent new member Nicholas Nelson, Stacy, MN Please let me know if you have any questions about your membership. Jerry Bambenek, Membership Secretary 651-437-4546 4

Bob Koepp gave the merchandise report. Merchandise has been ordered but there are issues. Will talk about it more in new business. Old Business- None New Business Roger and Donna Lang will be in charge of the merchandise at the National Auction in Litchfield. Some of our suppliers are going out of business because of their age, or health reasons. 6

Others are quitting due to supply demands or lack of business. We are still having trouble with the website. We will leave it be for now until after the National Auction when we devote more time to it. All visits by the club to collectors must be approved by the board before any dates are set. There was discussion about the insurance on the contents of the trailer. Our merchandise has changed since we first insured the contents at the beginning. The contents and its value will be compared to our current coverage and changes will be made to reflect that. We will discuss the cost of our meal at the next membership meeting and discuss our options. No cookies was talked about as it seems that they are quite costly for what is there. We have an upcoming election for three directors. Bob Koepp, Dave Kanten, and Jerry Bambenek. Bob has decided not to run again. Bill was asked if there was any interest from anyone to run for the board. It was reported that there was no interest at this time. Do we still want to do a RPRU in 2020 or 2021? At the meeting in Forest City a survey was taken by the members present at that time and it was 16 for and 16 against. When asked who would help 13 said they would. 18 said they would not. We will put it to a vote before the membership at the next meeting. Clothing to be worn at the national auction was discussed. The possibility of the red club shirt for a cost of $24.00 to workers with a cheap reflective vest and black cap. Ronald Friedrich has donated 4 safety vests. Bob told him to mail them to him and the club would reimburse him the postage. The cost was $7.35. Dave will send him a check. The Forest City Show was held Aug. 20-21, 2016. There were 7

103 IH tractors at the show. Attendance was low on Saturday. The 2017 show at Lesueur County Pioneer Power will feature the 100 thru the 660 tractors. We are looking at going. to Montevideo in 2020. It will be brought before the membership for a vote at the next meeting. There was discussion about people bringing door prizes to donate. The person who is in charge of the merchandise at the shows will be required to run the sales tape at the end of the day to make sure everything was entered correctly. With no further business to discuss it was asked for a motion to adjourn. Motion was made. Motion was seconded. Meeting was adjourned at 11:55 a.m. I would also like to thank Jerry Bambenek for taking the minutes at the Forest City show for me in my absence. Respectfully submitted, Bill Radii Secretary IHCC 15 MN Chapter 15 Board Meeting November 19, 2016 Welcome and call to order was done at 10:30 a.m. by Pres.
