KULnews INTERNATIONAL DAY AT KUL 2017 On the 5th of October the Open University KUL has organized the second edition of the International Day at KUL. The program among other things included: an opening speech of the Rector of KUL, Rev. Prof. Antoni Dębiński, tasting of Polish dishes and impressions of international students on studying at our University. The event had its musical accent too a performance by ReTune music band. International Day at KUL means in short a welcoming of international students in the new academic year. A team of the Open Integration project was also involved by presenting our current offer to international students during the event.

It is worth pointing out that international aspect of our University grows with every year. If we look at the statistics from 2011 we can observe that 266 international students studied at KUL, comparing the data to the current year we may notice an essential increase of the number of international students at KUL over 680 students! Because of that the activities carried our within the Open Integration project meet growing expectations of supporting foreigners starting their studies here. Thanks to our support we can see an increase of positive reactions from international students community not only from our, but also other universities of Lublin that for sure has its impact on the recruitment process. Thanks to The Open University the International Day at KUL founds its stable place in the academic calendar of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.
