In addition to the 17 off-street parking spaces being provided, the applicant considers the space in front of each of the 98 self-storage units as providing additional parking area. The property is located in the Industrial (B.1) Zone. A variance from Section 4.13.4.2 of Zoning By-law (1995)-14864, as amended, is being requested. The By-law requires one (1) off-street parking space be provided for every 50 square metres of gross floor area for a storage facility [total of 110 parking spaces required]. REQUEST: The applicant is seeking relief from the By-law requirements to permit a total of 17 offstreet parking spaces on the property for the self-storage facility.
