CITIZEN COMMENTS (NO ACTION WILL BE TAKEN) Note: The Chairperson, in his or her discretion, may provide the opportunity for members of the audience to address the Commission on items placed on the agenda. The Chair will recognize, upon a request for a show of hands, those persons wishing to address the Commission. When recognized, please approach the podium, give your name, and state the matter of your interest. These comments will be limited to four minutes for each speaker on each topic, subject to change at the Chair s discretion if necessary in the interest of time. If you require more than the allotted time, your item can be placed on the next agenda. If you discuss topics of business that are not encompassed in the agenda posted, the Commission will not be able to discuss or vote on those portions of your discussion. 4. Airport Consultant Services Motion: Commissioner Paxton made a motion to ask Mr. Onofre to forward qualifications for a new Engineer. Airport Commission Board issues Motion: Commissioner Sanders made a motion to table the chairperson election to the next meeting. Commissioner Peel offered a second, motion passed by unanimous vote 6. Schedule Next Meeting The next meeting was scheduled for October26th at 5:30 p.m. 7. Adjournment Motion: Commissioner Sanders made a motion to adjourn with Commissioner Bosquez offering a second. The meeting was adjourned at approximately 6:45 p.m. by unanimous vote. Air Service Oct. 19 Airport Commission meeting: motion to consider hiring a consultant to pursue air service development. Oct. 25 City Council meeting: Public Charter s proposal tabled. Staff is directed to continue negotiations. Oct. 27 Request to DOT to revise scope of grant. Nov. 2 Phone conference with DOT. Nov. 16 Victoria confirms that will pursue change in route Nov. 17 revised proposal to DFW by Public Charters.

Air Service Development SCASD (Small Community Air Service Development) Grant DOT $500,000 (SCASD Grant until Jan. 2017) City requested extension and will be granted one more year (Jan. 2018) Destination on grant is Dallas/Ft. Worth cannot be changed. Once a destination is used on SCASD grant it cannot be repeated (by law) Houston in 2004 grant and Dallas in 2013 grant. Victoria, County Requested change to DOT to fly Victoria Austin Dallas. Same as last year and gives possibility to share costs with Del Rio. Currently flying Victoria Austin and Victoria Houston. Under EAS grant (Essential Air Service). Texas Sky Rough estimate on new price to DFW to be $1,187,893
